Typical
Now the experts can say "see? Dubnyks great. Stalock sucks"

Uhhh, yeah. that's it. Hope BB understands what he just did to Stalock.
Good part is, it won't bother Alex one bit. He's a bigger man than most.

3-1 roadie.

I takey

Anyone else notice how Bettmann! put us back on the 5-games-in-3-days schedule again? Idiot.

My wife rarely watches hockey but we had watch the Montreal game. Then I was watching the Boston game....she asked.....did Boston play yesterday like the Wild?

I said, no, they had a day off.

We travel with back to back and they come in fresh.

Bettmann is a complete and utter idiot.

Primarily because he couldn't and wouldn't know how to promote a wet t-shirt contest with the Hawaiian Tropic Girls held in an all male prison.

I agree 100%, I could have done without the 20 minute penalty kill at the end, but nice win over the hated Jets.

It was interesting to hear the NHL color commentator (I confess, I don't know who it was) tear into Nada last night. Always with stationary feet and reaching from a distance instead of finishing through his man. I don't how many times he said "Niederreiter has to be better than that".

Good to see Greenway keep chugging along and getting rewarded. He is one young player who seems to be on his way to fulfilling his potential.

I really want to see Kunin and Ek break through and start showing up in the scoring sheet. They both skate and play like guys who belong on an NHL ice sheet, but they need to start cashing in opportunities. Both of them have no problem lighting it up right up through the AHL level. They haven't figured it out up here yet.

Zucker said the exact right things after last night
Lets see if he truly gets it
It was ... means nothing if I don't stay consistent, can't get two in one night and then disappear (somewhere, an angel just got its wings)
Great stuff on the youngins Sweens
They're proving they're too good for AAA ... now they have to figure out the hard part HERE
They skate and hit like big boys
Now learn how to score like em.

I Like Greenway. I think he can be a force with his size.

That was exactly the way I characterized it, and it wasn't until the final 10 seconds that I exhaled. Quite often we get empty-netters in these circumstances, but not last night. The end felt like a giant "WHEW!" moment.

Spurgeon with another two assists
Gee, here we had an offensive defenseman all along.
Who knew?
Matt Dumbwho?
(will be nice to get him back, however)

Seems to me that when teams play back-to-backs they could schedule it so both teams are in same boat.

I realize scheduling is a pain in the butt with arena availability and often NBA teams using same building but maybe they should get some help from IBM and their Watson artificial intelligence number cruncher.

Like I've always said ... PeeWee hockey Moms been doing this brain surgery for a 100 years ... and they do it better than the genius Bettmann! and his minions.
Its not nearly as hard as they make it look.

"Worst loss since I've been here" - words of BB.

When your 'all star' gives up goals in the first 30 seconds of the game.....it's tough to get going. Brings the whole team down. But sit tight Fenton. All is well, you're selling the building out.

7 more years people. Just 7..

All the kings horses and all the kings men........
This isn't getting put back together again no matter what BB does. Time for Fenton to dismantle this mess and try something new.

Phlyers had won twice in their last 11

Wait, that probably made them "due" according to the apologists.

N

Is where most of the problem starts and ends.
Time for another interview .... "mmmmmmmmmmm, ahhhhhhhhhhhh, I actually think we're playing pretty well, its just a matter of sticking together and playing the same way, and soon things will change"
I believe theres some definition of insanity that sounds very similar to that ...

I know all the NTC's make it extremely tough to move our guys but, at this point, would any of them fetch value?

You aren't finding any suckers for 9, Zach, NTG...hell, even Suter at this point.

Add Nada and Granlund to that list.

At this point I would unload them all if I could, spend a couple of years in the draft lotter and try to rebuild around Kunin, Greenway, Spurgeon and Ek. Of course it would be nice if we could add Alex We Didn't Need Him Tuch to that mix.

When I tuned in, Philly had 5 goals on 20 shots and had just been pulled.

5 goals on 20 shots. 5 goals on 20 shots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Drew Butera would dream of a BA that high.

Actually, most of the players on the Twins would dream of a 0.250 BA

I believe he gave up #5 with 4 seconds to go in the second period.
