Andrew Brunette sent packing. Maybe we've been too tied to our emotional hooks from the past. Time to get some fresh voices behind the scenes.

Gotta agree Lynn
Love ya for what you did, Bruno … but ahhh, well, we gotta move on at some point

BB will return next year. Parise, surprise surprise, played the last month with a broken foot. I respect the hell out of his grittiness, but Zach's inability to get through a season without breaking, tearing, rupturing or herniating something is getting old.

Same thoughts
Love your toughness kid
But ya frajeeeeeeeeelaaaaaa, brotha. Really fraaaaaajeeeeeeeeeelaaaaaaa

And in typical Minnesota lottery luck fashion the Wild drop a spot after the draft lottery while Chicago jumps to #3.

Just like I said all year
Chicago goes thru a horrifying season in their eyes. Horrific by their standards. Embarrassing in all ways.
And in the end ….. they somehow end up better than us in all aspects

Better draft position
Loaded with young talent
Ready to reload and get after it
While we over here like ………. ahhhh, we suck again!

OK, I'm already off the Fenton wagon.

He said that, basically, if they didn't make the moves they did they still would have been in the same spot moving forward but knows that adding Dumba and Mikko back will get us back in the playoffs. That tells me:

A. He's either too stubborn or stupid to realize and admit it's not the fringe guys that's killing us, it's the lack of production from the big money core
B. The goal is to MAKE the playoffs. Not, oh....I don't know.....WIN THE WHOLE THING.

Our organizational goal (which we won't score btw) is to "make the playoffs". We do that, excellent season.

He can say what he wants to say. It's all just spin and not important. I want to see how he spends the available cap money, what deals he makes and who he picks in the draft.

You could tell the homer gomers had been given a list of things to rattle off the last week of the season, once we weren't
"making the playoffs" (wheeeeeee )
And it pissed me off.
They're doing just like before … "gee, if we just get _______ back"
No, you jackwagons ….. that wasn't working.
Did Fenton not realize we were never there, towards the end of the playoffs, when his Nashville teams were?
Systemic problems … in almost every team we have in this GD state.
Until someone goes full enema ….. we ain't shaking the CURSE. And yes, its a full-blown CURSE, aka …. Stupidity.

Let's say, he makes a couple of great signings with the $20M in cap space he got from the deals he made, makes a good deal for Zucker and has a good draft. Does it still matter that he tells the fan base, "we ain't that far away"?

Get good players in here. That's all that matters.
