Another writer's too early projection to the 53 man squad, but there isn't anything else right now.

https://thevikingage.com/2019/07/14/minnesota-vikings-roster-training-camp-2/

He talks about whether Cutting can play or not. He's way behind the times.

He also has Kyle Sloter being cut, and no mention of OdinBigo?

15 days until the first padded practice.

Surprising

If Beebe can stay healthy, I could see a 40-50 catch season for him.

On Laquon Treakwell:

Treadwell is in limbo. The team declined his fifth-year option and his contract is guaranteed for this year. If the Vikings cut him, they only gain approximately $600K in salary cap room but would lose out on a potential compensatory pick if another team signs him to a decent deal after the 2019 season. On the other hand, even an amazing season is unlikely to save his hopes in Minnesota since the cost of keeping would be tough to match because of the cap situation.

Horse Manure.

Treadwell has proven to be a total bust. Keeping him on the roster for any reason is denying someone with better potential. What other team is going to sign him to a decent deal? If he signs anywhere it will be for league minimum.

If even an amazing season cannot save his hopes in Minnesota what is the point in keeping him other than to wasted a roster spot on a player that is never going to amount to anything in the NFL?

I had to dig deeper to find material. Actually, it's worth the time to listen. This is a discussion of the rb roster battles.

We get an amazing season out of him and then a 3rd round compensatory pick in 2020 when he signs as a FA with another team.

None of us see that happening. I personally made effort to be patient with him and hoped for the best, perhaps because I felt I was personally invested in him with my advocating for him strongly when he was coming out in the draft. I certainly was wrong. I'm in good company with that. Not all of these draft picks work out well, but I want to see a new face with a young player who is ascending and with a chance to be special.

Treadwell is a sunk cost, holding on to him only compounds the issue. Salary cap (trade him pls a late round draft pick - or flip of picks) and the roster spot are more valuable.

I'd rather give this guy a minimum 1 yr salary if he gets reinstated, I'd at least kick the tires and do the research (a perfect compliment to Diggs/Thielan):

Some great seasons. I don't think any of them were too recent, though.

I'd add Chris Doleman, 1989, 21 sacks, 94 tackles, 5 fumble recoveries.

Nothing recently, but you know what really matters is that Lombardi Trophy that has eluded our team.

I stand a better chance of winning the lottery twice after getting struck by lightning three times and Aaron Rodgers retiring suddenly and immediately from the Packers because his new coach wont kiss his ass.

So I think just letting him go, unless we can sucker some stooge into trading us some leftover used thigh pads and bag of potato chips for him.

Treadwell has no value. Keeping only makes sense if there are so many injuries in training camp that he by default becomes the 6th WR.

If Treadwell could do well as a gunner I could understand keeping him for one more season.

I'm happy to find this one. This is like meat for me.

A gunner? We punt from the 50, they catch it at the goal line, they would meet at the 40...

That was snide, mean spirited and uncalled for and I resent the fact that Jeff thought of it first.

#Vikings WR @stefondiggs puttin in that late night work. Sometime near midnight this one-handed catch happened. NIGHT GAME READY!!! Sticky hands are evident... 2019 he is goin to be a problem.

(P.S. The average person can’t make this catch this smooth & stay in stride.)

I don't think he's fast/quick enough to be a great gunner.

He'll get beat because he's slow.
