There can only be bad news this time of year. This young man has a problem.

Probably best to cut ties with him now.

Wasn't Hill at Roc Thomas's place when the popo found the ganja?

I wonder if this one is for the Roc Thomas incident?

Impressive to get both a 4 game PED and a 4 game substance abuse suspension at the same time.

No concurrent sentencing though.

KRIS BOYD

News broke Tuesday afternoon that second-year corner Holton Hill had been suspended an additional four games for violating the league’s substance abuse policy. This came on top of his existing four-game suspension for performance enhancing drug use.

Hill, the likely No. 5 corner on the roster, is now out for half the season, opening the door for fellow Texas Longhorn Kris Boyd. If the rookie seventh-round pick can take to Mike Zimmer’s coaching, he’ll have a shot to duplicate what Hill did by contributing important reps as a rookie. He stood out in OTAs and mini-camp as a favorite of Zimmer’s and peaked on June 12 when he intercepted two passes at mini-camp.

Spielman: "I know what Zimm wants in his football team. He wants smart, high character, tough-minded [players]; physical football team.” #Vikings

What's cool for Hill is that doesn't say Zim wants clean players.

Although 'smart' could be tossed around as more of an indirect, technicality thing.

In other news, another lawsuit against Peterson. Seems to be because in this one some person (his attorney?) says he was taken advantage of by others.

He should have bought that camel and rented it out.

Wondering if the anti-Waynes crowd who wanted him gone in part because we can 'weather' a four-game Hill suspension will be around?

Hill had a problem with substances before the NFL. Hill had a problem with substances in the NFL. But yeah, we can count on him.

Go Boyd!

Hahaha

Not anti- Waynes at all, when you have the worst OLine in football you look for options.

We’ll see, but at this moment I’m happy we have Waynes...

He’d have fared better had he abused his children. Sadly.

No doubt. NFL really needs to review their policy on gonja,

Meanwhile child abuser Tyreek Hill gets off scott free

Yeah I stand by everything I said. Trading Waynes was an option worth considering.

Here's more information. Apparently the Vikings are considering a second corner, as well, but I like what I see with the Scandrick selection.

The Vikings coaching staff likes these first few days w only rookies & select vets so that they can really slow things down and point things out before veterans report and it speeds up fast. #afternoonsesh #VikingsCamp

This writer suggests that the Vikings say goodbye to Hill. I'm kind of on board with that, but not strongly. I will support whatever the Vikings decide, but my bet is that they part ways.

Sounds like #Vikings rookie WR Dillon Mitchell had an impressive day during the team’s first practice yesterday

Source: The #Vikings claimed former #Jets RB De’Angelo Henderson. They recently released RB Roc Thomas and have an opportunity there.

waynes and alexander are free agents in 2020 - we could end up with just rhodes and hughes in february....

do these last four games have to do with the roc thomas bust early this year?...it seems both thomas and hill were hit with their suspensions within a few days from each other....

hill has talent and i hate to see us lose out on that, also i hate to see a young player ruin his career because of marijuana - when i was holton hill's age everyone i knew smoked dope every single day....

A lot of my friends did, too, Rat. But when they had a chance to go to work at the stamping plant or the mill, they quit smoking pot, because their employment required them to test negative. Hill put himself in this situation, knowing that his positive test could shelve him for a while.

I get drug tested every year and that doesn't include my randoms. My workplace has zero tolerance. Once and you are done. Hill has flunked at least two tests, but I think it might be more than that.

Whatever. I'm just disappointed. It's so stupid.
