Murray is a more punishing runner, and he is slower than Cook. They are a nice combo.

I am not sure I trust Boone or Rock to replace Murray next year. They might offer more of a homerun threat, but against playoff teams, not sure if they will provide the tough running that can provide balance with Cook.

Used the thunder to run the clock out.

The thunder set up Aldrick TD the following drive, and the lightning scoring on the drive after that.

It's NOT a matter of lightning being better than thunder, one sets up the other, use mixture of both.

i think that we'll be better next season with cook and boone....

Miami's 33 passing play calls netted 37 yards, 1.12 ypp!

Their 20 rushes gained 156 yds., 7.8 ave.

19 for a 80 or so, taking away the one blemish of the day. 4.2 ave.

This is what happens when you make a team one dimensional.

Fast starts are kinda important.

That's true, they could have gouged us even more w/ running if the score would have been closer earlier.

Yeah, 4.2 ypc is much more reflective of how our d played the run today. Not great, but acceptable.

More important than the boone vs murray (tho I agree 100% with you) is Remmers/Compton vs Upgraded interior line.

3.5M is just too much to spend on a RB right now. I'd rather have Richardson back. Now if Murray is willing to take a vet min deal, hell yes, bring him back.

Conklin is probably a better #3 receiver than Treadwell

40 carry's for 200+ yards this game, admittedly not against a top rushing defense, but it seems like a not undoable that we can get the OL to a good level this offseason. But we always say that, it seems

Tbh I fell asleep at halftime, feeling ok with a 21-10 lead even with Miami getting the ball to start the second half..

Defense was pretty much all over miami’s Game, and the first three touchdowns made me absolutely positive that Defilipo was way, way, overrated and a fn anchor on the back of the offense..

I missed the second half entirely in dreamland, but reading back thru this thread I see the not unexpected doubts came up..

Miami adjusted.. we just adjusted better and blew them out, as we should have.

Those who keep calling for Zimmers firing, have short memories.
We have had way worse coaching in the HC position in the past.

For once fn Preifer ‘s teams did nothing boneheaded..
He must have had larengitis or a stroke or Zimmer told him to shut the **** up.

Overall good win..

Keep winning.

That’s all I can say.

Or if our entire defensive roster had been killed in some horrific accident just before game time, that could have really been a problem, defensively.
