Get him.

Darren Wolfson✔@DWolfsonKSTP
Slight clarification on Doumbouya: tweeted that yesterday was scheduled to be his day w/ #Twolves. He did arrive into town. Spending time w/ staff today, likely undergoing some medical testing. Then a workout is expected in next 24 hrs. Wolves clearly doing their work on him.

Hoping for Doumbouya, I believe the new FO will be confident enough to look long term here. I think if he slips past 9 we may get him. I just have the feeling Atlanta is looking for someone that will contribute right away. Possible pre draft rumor but it sounds like a possibility Atlanta might want to move the pick and if they did I doubt it would be for Sekou.

I have a bad feeling that he won't there when we draft.

I like how he moves and his shot looks pretty quick, clean and effortless. We need to get him.

No idea. But I'd be targeting #8 and the Hawks.

John Meyer@thedailywolf
.@Mike_Schmitz drafted Sekou Doumbouya at #11 for the Wolves in the ESPN Mock Draft they’re doing & spoke highly of him. Woj says Rockets & Rosas were never afraid to make moves on draft night so keep an eye on that. Jay Will says KAT would be an incredible player to learn from.

Have the Wolves brought in any other players for workouts here?

From Doogie players that worked out with Wolves this week.
Amir Coffey
Romeo Langford
Nasir Little
Thanks to @GerssonRosas, Ryan Saunders, @david_fhima, @Twolves_PR, and the #Twolves for welcoming us last night to watch the Finals game together. The FO is working 16 hour days, so much appreciation. Busy week with Doumbouya, Herro, K. Johnson, C. Johnson, Clarke, more in town.

Any indication how anybody is preforming at these work outs or is it all pretty hush hush

Slow-motion look at Sekou Doumbouya’s shooting stroke. The 18-year-old shot 31.9% from 3 this past season with Limoges. Has more natural touch than his percentages would suggest.

Not particularly excited about the prospect of doing this...

Jonathan Givony✔@DraftExpress
Darius Garland will conduct a last-minute workout in Tarrytown with the New York Knicks tomorrow, a source told ESPN. Garland is in serious consideration for the No. 3 pick. Minnesota, Boston, Chicago are teams looking at potentially trading up to No. 4 with Garland in mind.

I *REALLY* don't want to move up to #4, so this could be promising:

Jonathan Givony✔@DraftExpress
Source: The Atlanta Hawks have been aggressive exploring trades packaging the No. 8 and 10 picks to move up in the draft. Their offer to the Knicks for the No. 3 pick was apparently rebuffed. The Pelicans are considering the possibility of trading the No. 4 pick for 8+10.

That could be good on 2 fronts. Atlanta is the team most often mocked to snipe Sekou Doumbouya ahead of us.

Here is my biggest hope for draft night. I want our newly hired brain wizard and his recently assembled brain trust to have done all the right research and pick the right player(s). I want this to be the first of many signs in the coming weeks, months and years that we finally have a FO that knows what it is doing.

I don't care about the immediate reaction to whatever name tonight. I'm done looking for draft night instant gratification. What I care about is that as we go farther into the season, we look back on tonight as a good moment for the franchise. Other than KG, Love and Towns, for the most part we have looked back on draft nights with disappointment or had our initial disappointment confirmed.

So, here is my reaction to tonight's pick in advance ... "OK. We'll see how it goes. Check back in December and we'll have some idea by then."

Rumor on another Cite. The Wolves trade Wiggins to Houston, Houston trades Paul to Boston and Wolves get back Al H. He declares free agency and the Wolves get the Cap Space to add player or players. Thoughts?

I don't know how plausible that scenario is, but I would gladly move Wiggins in a deal that removes his contract from the books immediately.

Somebody is doing a lot of thinking outside the box.

If we then can use that cap space to sign Russell I'm all over it. It would be a gift from on high.

I don't believe that's even feasible.

Horford rejected his player option, so he's a free agent NOW. The only way the deal would work is he'd have to be signed and traded to us.

Not to mention I can't see Wigs in Houston.

The team that has done everything they can to eliminate the midrange shot would take a 4 year/120M gamble on a guy who truly believes long 2s are great shots?
