Sloter just looks like a natural

Elevate him to number two!

It’s actually kind of maddening to me that they do not elevate Sloter at all.

All he does is move the team down the field damn near every time.

Even the little fake pass that Sloter executes after handing off to Boone is noteworthy.

Froze DeSean Shead for a split second, giving Boone a chance to score.

Would Mannion have done that?

Sloter sure looks the part against 3's and 4's, but has he ever played a down with the 1's? It would be nice to see if he keeps that poise under fire with against the 1's.

Man, I like watching Sloter play...

I have seen enough of him to believe he has "it", other than the tired "he's playing against scrubs" argument. He's playing with scrubs too. I'd like to see him w/ 19 and 14 in the game for a drive or two.

Damn...Hill popped Lynch

I think it was unintentional with the helmet to helmet...

Lynch began his slide way late

Good call on Sloter not playing with the playmakers on our first team.

He can only play against whoever they put him up against

Agreed! What doesn't Sloter do well?

Sorry, I don't see it that way. Looking at it in slow mo, Hill was already lower than Lynch was as he closed in for the tackle. Lynch started sliding late and went low.
That's when the helmets met.

The simple fact that he lowered his head and lead with it makes it a penalty.

I don't want to see anybody injured, maybe Lynch will think about the wisdom of giving himself up late in the future hoping to get that 15 yard penalty.

And if his helmet goes along side Lynch with the shoulder making contact, it's still a penalty, just because he lowered his helmet?

Perhaps Sloter is a bad clipboard-holder. All scouting reports I read on him said he was very intelligent, competitive and had a great attitude in college. At least one scout was comparing him to be similar talent-wise to the top-tier guys in that draft.

I think you have the chance of a no call with the shoulder... helmet to helmet you are going to get called most of the time.

Loved the cover on the squib kickoff... so many times someone decides to be a superhero and ends up fumbling the thing away.

Lynch started that slide way late. Going down at that time opened the opportunity for the helmets to meet.

I'd like to think that Hill wasn't aiming for his helmet when he was already low going for his body.
