I should have known better than to try watching when Doobie is in the nets.....what frickin joke. Between Duh-oh Doobie and our over 30 gang barely keeping pace and missing the net by 2 feet on open chances we are toast.

Fully embarrassed.

Yup, sorry to see BB go, but I doubt he lasts past Thanksgiving with this group.
This team is built with over the hill vets and youngsters who should still be in the minors....no chance of winning more than an occasional game.

I thought Stalock was gonna start again tonight, like in college hockey?

Goalie Devan Dubnyk dropped to 0-5 with a .867 save percentage and 4.44 goals-against average.
Numbers that match the eye test.........Duh-Oh Dobbie needs to ride the pine.

In a word... no. I couldn't take anymore after 2 periods, but during that time, Ek, Kunin and Foligno was the only line that looked like it belonged on an NHL ice sheet.

Gurren must be reconsidering his life choices right about now. He was the kind of player who would skate through the end boards for a win, so this has to be killing him.

I see Donato and Rask couldn't get the puck past mid ice even in our best period....Mayhew gets his first goal and 2 shots on goal in 10 mins....leave him in the lineup.

They have to get Dubnyk going but after a shutout why not Stalock again?

We literally had guys out there who wanted nothing to do with hockey.
I truly believe that
There was a 10 minute stretch in the second that was the worst effort I've seen from this team, maybe ever.
As was said … we have the grinder position covered
I was glad Walz gave Hartman some credit, the penalty wasn't that big of a deal. But he is one guy who is busting ass to turn things around.
Him, Foligno and Kunin can't be blamed. Or Hunt, he's trying everything.
The rest are pathetically inept or not really trying.
Parise had at least 4 golden opportunities, got nothing
Staal gets credit from me for being the only true winner in the group, but he is beyond checked out
Koivu is in the old-man-reach-and-hope portion of his career, and its really ugly.
Rask simply isn't good enough, and we all know my thoughts on Zucker and Dubnyk, which were totally confirmed last night.
Suter had maybe his worst opening shift of his life last night, which tells you even he is slipping. At least he rallied and finished like he gave a crap.
Soucy probably our most effective D. Ouch. Greenway isn't good at hockey,. really. Nor is Donato.
Hard to watch. Really, really, hard to watch. Mayhew has to be going …. this is the NHL? Did I go up, or down?

Time to trade some of these guys...Mikko and Zucker are my two to trade. One SOG in over 15 mins each. Somehow include Brodin and get someone that can bring something.

Saw more in Mayhew in 10 mins than I have seen from Zucker and Mikko in 6 games.

Mikko has a no move clause and is untradeable. I would move Zucker in a heartbeat, but Fenton gave him a modified no trade clause too. I hope Gueren is the GM who finally realizes how incredibly ordinary Brodin is and moves his smooth skating, passive-aggressive ass down the road.

I would add Ek to that list. I thought he made a pretty good accounting of himself.

Hartman? The penalty was a big deal IMO. It negated a break away and put Toronto on the power play, so they could pick up a Doobie special. It was one of those unfortunate, "he should have known better moments. That said, I get what you are saying. The guy plays like he gives a damn every shift of every game. AND he knows how to play hockey. He was a really good pickup.

Time to move some of the non performers like Zucker to the 4th line.

Completely forgot to add Ek in there Tim
I've actually loved his game so far
He seems fed up and is taking no shit from anyone.
That needs to happen.
No elder on this team right now has the right to bully any of the young guys.
Like I said … Staal has NHL pull. The rest are no higher on the pole than the young guys are.
Shut up and grab an oar, or get tossed overboard. That includes, all you old bastards. And former all-stars. None of you are making any all-star teams now.
Shut up and row

Foligno is more of a leader right now than any guy with a letter on his chest.
By far.
NO surprise

At this point, I might do that as a coach on my way out.
Foligno gets the C
Spurgeon gets an A
It'd either tear the world apart, or start building a new one.
I get the country club feel right now. Time for a clubhouse fire.

The only problem with that is that there are only 3 spots on the 4th line.
