Too many golly gees I had a tough day from too many guys starting with our Goalie. Goalies can carry a team....Dubes poor start makes it even worse.

I hear that every time he lets a goal in … its how he looks. "oh jeez. Another goal"
The game isn't fun to a lot of these guys anymore.

Waiting for someone like Foligno to go up to Dubes and give him a choice of Head or Gut during a game....like the "Last Boy Scout" movie.

I get the whole "he's our goalie" thing
I get the whole "his contract" thing
I get the whole "its his turn" thing

That said, you had a hot goalie who just shut out someone for your first win
Reward him by simply letting it roll
Gutless.

I thought the same thing Scott. When the game started and I saw that Dubnyk was back in the goal I said that I could imagine Stalock saying "What does a guy have to do to earn the starting spot for his team?"

He should have pulled him after the first easy goal or first goal....other than sending him to Iowa for a start what do you do.

I've never told anyone Stalock is a SC winning goalie who should be our #1
But it's damn crazy to keep calling Dubnyk "the guy"
It just isn't happening. I don't give a damn what his contract says.

Stalock should easily get half the starts....Dubnyk deserves nothing....nobody on a 1-5 should have anything given to them. I don't care if it is Parise or Suter.

Switch up the PP, use Hunt more. If we have trouble at Forward lets put Dumba, Spurgeon, or Hunt in there for a few shifts.

Surprised nobody has mentioned former NHL Rookie of the Year and North Star great Danny Grant passed away. Solid career. Once scored 50 goals in a season with the Red Wings.

One of the first North Stars I idolized.

Dubnyk is the Joe Flacco of the NHL. He has the size that forces him into saves/throws. Yet, he needs a perfect 10 out of everyone around him to be successful.
