Funny how teams game plan for Hunter, but he still seems to sack the QB a lot.

Well there is the problem!!!

Someone just needs to tell Barr he can sack the QB even if the opponent game planned for him...

I'm thinking someone can explain to Zim that just because a team game plans for Barr doesn't mean he has to be invisible.

Barr turning into the invisible man must be Zim's "counter" move.

He goes into stealth mode. Simply disappear until they stop game planning for him.

IDK, is theft a bad attribute for a CB?

You have really crossed the line from snarky to jerk lately Bigo, but you still have the ability to make me laugh.

I still think that if we blitz Barr on half of his plays, he would be a lot more effective.

barr and our defense as a whole do much better when they are aggressive and attacking.

Problem is we have an ultra conservative coach in Zimmer.

It's possible... but I found it very telling in that video I posted a page back or so that Wilson had more sacks on FAR FEWER rushing attempts.

Whether it's Barr or scheme.... he isn't a difference maker in our defense to date.

Maybe with some new blood at CB we can get back to that.

Harris signs his tender.

Do we still have the option to work out an extension?

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports the Cardinals are interested in free agent DE Everson Griffen.
Fowler reports 32-year-old Griffen has drawn "strong interest from multiple teams." Publicly, Griffen's market has been cold as ice, but we would assume far fewer rumors than usual are coming to light because of the lack of team/media interactions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Griffen bounced back for an excellent 2019 after a 2018 that was interrupted by mental health issues.

I hope he does well, wherever he goes. He was a good soldier for us, even when he was struggling with his personal issues. I've always been a big fan of his.

I've always loved Griffen. We've talked for years about letting go earlier vs later and this feels like doing it the right way.

Yep it could in all probability be the right time to move on from Everson with Odenigbo apparently coming on, and the sustained greatness of Hunter, but man I remember the years of drafting DE after DE (Derrick Alexander, Michael Boireau, Erasmus James to name a few) and struck out every time.

Tough to move on from such a productive guy, but I get it.

I don't think it's the right time to move on from Griffen.

It's time to make a Barr like signing and keep him in purple. Work the numbers, keep the stud.

The Vikes were a playoff team, and could surprise once again in the playoffs, provided they keep a blue chipper like Griffen.

I am excited to see if some of the 2ndary guys can quickly make us forget about a couple if players I wasn't all that fond of in Waynes and Rhodes. Just need to stay agressive with blitzing with this defense.

The problem is that he wants to get paid like a blue chipper and he isn't any more...can't keep everyone.
