Bad pick. There is still very solid o-line prospects out there.

I still hate it. Every source had him as a 6th or 7th round pick. They can try to play him up. Something must be wrong with Weaver. Character or medical.

He's not athletic enough.

Tweener in that he is sort of fast but not super fast. Situational pass rushing DE. Hunter blueprint?

Certainly some similarities:

Sounds like a guy who is good at defending the run and the pass. Flexible enough to be moved around and is being compared to Hunter with his size.

From NFL.com:

Wonnum has experience playing standing or with a hand down but is best suited as a rush linebacker in a 3-4.

Sure seems like we’re going to be incorporating some 3-4 looks on D next year.

Funny, Lindy's says:
"Not athletic enough to use in a coverage role, and may benefit from working strictly as a defensive end in the pros"

Stenberg gone now. Only potential guard left is Biadasz.

I like Runyan better than Biadasz but theres not much after that.

Wow, a 5th and a 3rd for Williams. No thanks.

A third next year is equivalent to a 4th this year is the rule of thumb.

And where the 9ers MAY be drafting could make it virtually a 5th.

Tyler Johnson still available. Other WR I would love us to get Hightower or Joe Reed.

Patterson I'm sure is all over this pick and I trust him based on his track record.

Muti is dropping like a rock. Teams not willing to risk him due to medical concerns. Lemieux or Biadasz look like the best available.

Get Robertson.

Do we have a guy that specializes in slot? Other than CFL guy.

Vikings have two picks coming up soon. Watch us get sniped by the one in-between them.

Staley retiring apparently, so getting Williams became a huge priority for SF

I still want Hall. Must be medically red flagged or he would be gone by now.

Wonum sounds like a physical freak.

Very athletic

Basically free agency and draft up has filled the losses

Linval, Waynes, Everson, Alexander, Diggs.

While adding a high ceiling lineman
