This article is too short. Very interesting topic, though.

I liked Reagor, Mims and Jefferson all pretty equally so we will just have to see how it plays out. After we drafted Jefferson of course I looked into him more and have become convinced that Jefferson is the right choice.

The footwork reminds me of Diggs.

Not even close. Diggs has quickness because of how efficient he is with his steps. This guy is taking too many steps and dragging his feet at times.

DF are you a footwork guru or did you sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night? Honestly I wouldn't know if a player was using good footwork or poor in a one on zero workout.

I thought he was doing everybody, but I can't find him on Dantzler. Here's the purple for the win on Dantzler.

There's a YouTuber called Verified DBs and he puts up film and analysis about top DBs. So far I have checked out what he did on Dantzler and Diggs against LSU. He loved Dantzler who shut down LSU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2HMo64kpkNgand
Says he should have been an FRP.
Diggs got absolutely destroyed by them.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z7Mirkd3CT4
Edit: C J Henderson gave up 2 TDs against LSU.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_Xdc5ehBB8
AJ Terrell gave up 2 Tds.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMdP8bqyBEU

They didn't do one on Gladney. So far it is all about matchups with LSU.

Lots of draft picks getting signed, but not one Viking. I know it's virtually meaningless, but I like to see them get it out of the way. Highest picks signed Tagovailoa and Derek Brown IIRC.

Dantzler may be the steal of the draft.

Liked what I saw on the film breakdown of Gladney. He simply smothers receivers.

43 draft pick signings and not one of the 15 Vikings picks yet. I wonder if we are waiting until confirmation of the season or something. It seems like we are not even trying.

Mostly just a formality with the rookie wage structure.

I wouldn't get too worked up about it.

True, but still drafted players are signing and we have more than anybody else but haven't signed one. I would like to see us break the ice.

For sure, 1.3 draft picks signed per team hardly seems like a reason to get ones panties in a bunch.

Usually the push is before the mandatory camps....no camps probably means signings get pushed back.

I don't wear panties? Do you? If I did they wouldn't be in a bunch. Would yours?
Now that we have hopefully got the rudeness out of the way mathematically speaking based on the total number of signings we should have had a couple by now. I am just noting the statistical imbalance.

Yep. It's this really dead time of year for football news. It would be nice to get some good news with the signings getting out of the way. If we were trying at all I'm confident we would have signed one or more players. So this indicates that some teams are trying already and we are not. We are making an active choice NOT to sign players at this time.

With only 43 out of 255 picks signed, I would say a lot of teams are making an active choice not to sign players.

EDIT: I know some teams are opening their facilities sooner than others. My guess, without seeing the list of players, is that the teams that are opening up sooner are more active on signing draft picks.

I'm pretty sure the Vikings are one of the teams opening their facilities later.

I wouldn't lose any sleep over this KG.

I mean in all seriousness it's pretty much a done deal. What could go wrong? It's not like any players are going to back out.

About the only thing that could happen is a delay of some players not reporting to camp due to not inking the bottom line yet. If this were to happen it would be flat out stupid on the Vikings front office being camps will be shortened and all hands need to be on deck on day one.

I'm not losing any sleep over it and I don't have any panties to be in a bunch. I'm just pointing it out that we don't care about signing draft picks at this time. Maybe the teams that are opening facilities earlier are the teams signing picks. Maybe I will get a breakdown on which teams have and haven't signed any picks yet. It's that dead time of year so why not?

Breakdown done. Sweens you are pretty much correct. We are in the majority of teams deciding not to sign anybody yet. Only 1/3rd of the teams 11 have signed anybody. Some teams have decided to take care of business.
New England 9 signings
Miami, Indy and Baltimore 7
Buffalo 6

Other teams token signings
Houston and Detroit 2
Carolina, Tenn, Phil, and Giants 1 each.

I don't know if this falls in line with earlier camp openings.
