I mean, he's not a *bad* QB
But still – trading up to prevent him from going to…the Hawks? The Ravens? Titans? Miami who picked Tua?

Cabin fever striking deep in the Gutekunst house, apparently.

Titans take Wilson/T/Georgia

Supposedly the Vikings really like Cleveland. They think he's O'Neill II according to Goessling.

We got a 4th and a 5th packers gave up s 4th

We got a 4th and SIXTH

Nope. 176 is a 5th rounder.

You need to go back to school.

32 x 5 = 160. 160 picks for 5 rounds.

Mid 6th.

WOW

Bill, I’d invite you to go to espn’s draft site and go to round 5....

OK, including supplementals, yes. Sorry. But I look at that as a 6th.

Oh...how YOU look at it. Right...right. No wonder you challenged it 6 times.

"Wow"

Double oops

Yeah 6th.
I used to be good at math. Ha

Ha, Nope. 5th with supplementals lol. But at some point one has to say it's not really a 5th rounder after all the supplementals in previous rounds.

Anyway we are almost up!

Folks, picks 117 and 176 have to be more than 32 (one round) apart, right?

COME ON MAN!

Of course I'm going off Levine's post of what we got

Early 4th and late 5th

Give me a 3rd instead. Need quality over quantity.

Well like I said earlier, the player they had targeted at 25 they must have been very confident would still be there 6 picks later. So take what free picks you can and still get your man

Gotta be a CB, right?
Fulton, Johnson, Gladney

I don't see Rick trading back out of the 1st round. He loves those 5th year options.

this is how I see it

I like Gladney, then johnson, then Fulton

OK, cause I don't know how to rank them!

Bottomline on the trade:

The players we covet are still on the board six picks later.

Spielman did good getting what he got. More ammo for later.

Gute has slapped his dick on the table with this pick
If it doesn’t work out, he knows he’s a dickless man.

Yes, I’ve had a few shots since the pick

We were talking about all of those guys at 25

Exactly. It was a super move to trade back.

True I guess, any free picks are better than no free picks, assuming you still get who you want, but we need to consolidate some of this draft capital into some move ups in 2nd and 3rd to maximize value.

31, 117 and 176 for 25.

Poor trade IMO. We move back 6 spots in the first and only get a 4th and a really late pick.

i tend to agree

Exactly! We don’t need 14 players, half of whom won’t make the team. We need a handful of quality players.

Winfield is a value her according to Kiper. Alabama S is higher value but I know less about him.
