Didn’t we hire Dom Capers? Time to move away from Zimmers scheme and embrace something else as it’s obvious that we don’t have the players to play the defense Zimmer usually puts out there.

I really think Zimmer hired Capers and Kubiak so they can all sit around and talk the olden days before and after practices.

Zim needs big name coaches to fire when things go bad to distract the media.

See: Turner, Norv.

I think that's very likely to happen David.

The dreaded SCHISM comes early to MN this year?

All the gloom and doom rants after every time we lose are hilarious. We will be just fine.

You really think so? Todd probably has it about right. 7-9. This team has a very bad feel about it to me. No interior on either side of the ball is a killer in this league. If we had some creativity in the coaching dept we could get around some of it. Unfortunately I doubt Zimmer budges too much.

I'd rather go 0-16 than 7-9.

There was no way Zimmer and Spielman should've been extended prior to a successful season.

Too many stupid signings and too many failures at O line for Spielman to get it. To many high draft picks at DB that didn't pan our for the "guru" and too many losses to offensive masterminds for the defensive genius to keep his job.

I agree. I tried to get excited for this season but I figured it wasn't going to be good. I've been on the Zimmer isn't going to get it done bandwagon for a while now. He doesn't look like he can even coach up corners to me. He had Rhodes playing well for a couple years but who else? Maybe Munnerlyn? Considering all the draft capital on defense he's been a complete failure unfortunately.

Not gonna lie, I didn't think our corners played that badly. I thought Aaron Rodgers was flat out great.

His primary target was pretty good too.

Devonte Adams is one of the best at his position in the league.

The TD pass to Valdez-Scantling was perfect. It was actually pretty good coverage.

The one mistake by Dantzler on the play was he didn't get his head around and attack the ball. But it would have been a tough play either way. He was right there.
