Priority 1 is to resign Cruz.

I would like to see room made for Kirilloff, Larnach and Lewis on the roster next year. These guys all have some pop and batting average potential. Dumping Sano and his 200 strikeouts a year would help facillitate that.

Add at least a veteran upgrade (Bauer) from Stinky and Homer to allow Duran or Balazovic a shot at the # 5 starter.

You know you have major problems when the Vikings and even more so, the Wolves have more playoff wins than the Twins since 2004

I'm hoping not. Enjoy 5 innings per outing at 15 mill elsewhere.

Lots of Twins discussion on the Yankee game.
“Hard to understand a team being so good in regular season and so bad in post season”
They’re legitimately puzzled
So are we people. So are we.

Leiter just went OFF about Berrios.
Cannot believe he’s pulled after 75 pitches.
We hear ya Al.
We hear ya.

I didn't care to hear rocco on the postgame

Any excuse / reason he didn't go farther doesn't matter to me. One of his worst decisions.

Rocco is sooo passive. I don't like that. Give me some grit once in a while.

The whole "we gave all and can hold our heads high" thingy is downright embarrassing
Gardy II

EVERY other broadcast after our game, every announcer was saying … "somethings wrong in Minnesota, THAT team should win playoff games"
EVERY analyst, color guy, ex-player, all said … "too good of a team to be doing this"

When that happens, heads gotta roll, Falvine.

Pete sent me that Quoted garbage.

Who gives a crap. CHOKED.

Scapegoats will go. At least one hitting coach. Maybe the bench coach. Maybe sacrifice the first base coach.

Issues there. Enema needed.

I still think you have a healthy Cruz, JD, and Buxton we would have won but what was wrong with Polanco, Kepler, Rosario, and Sano. Judas it was like the Geico commercial where they all hid under a rock!

Cruz with a balky knee still did his part...WTH.

Sano was brutal all September. Offensively and defensively.

.148 for September 39 strikeouts in 81 at bats. 12 hits. 6 homers.

August was his "hot month" hitting .284. Then they fed him off speed until he couldn't recognize a fastball soon enough.

Auto-out

I'll get yelled at for this ….
But to me the Sano thing is very very tough

To me ….. he is DAVID ORTIZ
The way we feel about Sano right now is how I felt about Ortiz here
And I was so happy we cut ties.
And the rest is history as they say
I have NO IDEA what to do with him.
I know what it feels like right now, but …..

and yeah, yeah, hes not Ortiz, yadda yadda .. I get it
But it feels like the same frustrating problem child

THE most frustrating player on the team.

Free swingers are fun to watch during the regular season, but you have to be able to swing to contact when facing good pitching in the playoffs. The pitching didn't lose this series for the Twins. The way the pitching staff was handled was brutal, but they gave up 4 and 3 runs in the two games against the Astros. If you can't generate more than one run, you aren't going to win many games.

I'm all for giving up on Byron Buxton. At some point you have to be able to keep yourself in the lineup. In six seasons he's only played more than 92 games one time. He's never hit above .262 in any season. At some point you have to give me more than robbing a guy of a home run every 25 games.
