They were getting seven yards a carry with wide receivers on the field. They might as well have let the Seahawks in the huddle with the play formation.

Get Pierce and Hunter back next year
Draft like 3 lineman or your franchise QB if there.

Cook is really getting old. Dude just cannot stay healthy

You watch a Madison run and wonder how wise it is to tie Cook to a big contract.

Compounding that thought is the fact that there are plenty of Mattisons in every draft.

Cook contract was dumb. Re-upping Zimmer and Cousins was dumb. Typical Vikings.

I wouldn't have hated kicking the FG, but I was OK with going for it. Zim knows how bad the defense is. Still, just a couple of plays away from the win.

We are a rebuilding team; the concession on CBs and OGs tells you the team knew it, too. Even WR had placeholders beyond JJ, who has come out of the gate stronger than could reasonably be relied upon.

Give him time.

After watching his awful judgement on the ball I was taken back to crappy ball awareness that seems to be all too common on Zimmer teams. I think he may have some ability. Just not sure if we'll ever see it.

The young corners played fine. Our quarterback turned the ball over on consecutive possessions and Seattle scored 21 points in about two minutes as a result. He's a shitty quarterback.

Wilson can win you games more often than not...

Cousins can lose you games more often than not...

I didn't mind going for it. I hated the play call.

Spread them out with wide receivers and then run it. It was a telegraphed formation.

You still have Samia in the game(if you spread them out). Good chance he ends up 3 yards in backfield.

Pretty sure they(SEA) thought Kirk would sneak it. Just needed Ham to do what he normally does.

Just a note. If Mattison has adjusted to the outside it looked like he would have walked into the EZ

He was a little Michael Bennett-ish on that run

It was a telegraphed formation. We were getting seven yards-per-carry with wide receivers on the field. Spread them out and then run it.

Agreed. Almost all teams have weaknesses, but they have a HOFer caliber QB who can make up for their deficiencies

I used to like Zimmer...but this loss is on him and him alone...to not kick a chip shot field goal to go up 8 is beyond me...do not understand it at all...instead, they go for it...of course design a play that the defense can see from a mile away...and get stuffed...now, not only have you given the f'n Seahawks a glimmer of hope, you gave them an opportunity to win!! ****ing Zimmer is who he is...a choker when it truly matters....so damn frustrated by this loss...the team completely outplayed the Hags except for 6 minutes in the 3rd qtr and the last drive....****!!!!

That's why we tried to ice the game with a 1st down or TD.

But, Samia is one on one if we spread them out.

Put three wide receivers on the field and he walks into the end zone. They had zero ability to stop what we were doing.
