No Thielen
Cook with a tough game.
Cousins and Jefferson played very well.

Bisi found the open spots. Maybe he has earned a shot at 3rd spot again.

That's because when its third and nine, the "open spot" is "anything short of nine yards"

Yep, it wasn't until his last catch that he figured out to run past the first down mark and then come back.

Defenders know where the sticks are.

Difference between JJ and Bisi is CBs and Safeties have to respect JJ's deep speed, ball skills, etc... and can get run off the 1st down sticks. They know Bisi isn't going to beat them deep and don't let him get past the sticks.

That's what makes Thielen special. Not great speed but gets open past sticks and sometimes open on deep balls.

Thielen and JJ also both run much better routes, then "get to within 2 yards of the sticks and turn around".

I'm just saying a CB is in a more balanced position when Bisi is running a route compared to JJ.

For all we know, when Bisi does run past the sticks, he is usually well covered and they don't throw his way.

... but he's a great 3rd receiver option.

And that's why we are 5-6.
