I think there are some injuries not being reported...I saw 3 stars in the lineup given. Not sure why you wouldn't put Parise or Sturm in the 2nd PP over Rask.

Why should size difference be more important in the playoffs than regular season? If true, that is a flaw in the sport.

The referees tend to swallow their whistles on a lot of the aggressive shit in the playoffs. They go overboard with the let them play attitude. It tends to favor teams that play a heavy game.

I just set the DVR to record the condensed version on the NHL network that is airing this morning so I can watch it tonight.

Well know I've screwed myself. I decided not to watch the game because I hated the tension and the ultimate disappointment.

So now I don't dare watch the next one, or any after that, because what if my not watching the game is the reason they won?

There's the MAF we saw in the regular season. 5 goals on 14 shots. We've got a shot if that's what we're going to get. His rebound control sucked last night just like it did when we beat them during the season. This series is all about him.

That and we really do need to skate for all 3 periods. Sounds like we got away with not doing that in the 3rd.

We skated for the first 10 minutes and that's about it. It was another 50 minute penalty kill after that.

BTW - getting really tired out of the crew fawning all over MAF as "one of the greatest ever".

He's good but it's easy to ride the capes of 2 generational talents to a couple cups.
