We need to withstand the first period. They are going to come out on fire. If we get out of the first at least tied, we should be in good shape.

Why do we rotate goalies during the regular season, but then only use one guy in the playoffs?

They aren't playing any back-to-back games in the playoffs, so you don't have a goalie that needs to rest. And, in the playoffs, every game is crucial, so you go with the guy who has the best chance of stopping shots.

I see some merit to both sides, but I mostly agree with your take Lynn.

Tried watching on FSN for most of the first period. I just can't take LaHomer. So happy he doesn't do Twins games anymore. I had to switch to NBCSN before the end of the first period. LaHomer is unbearable!

I'll take LaPanther over Pierre McGuire....can't stand him.

Yep!!

It's mind boggling that an announcer could be do bad that Anthony LaPanta is an upgrade. Because Panther sucks. Absolutely sucks. McGuire is worse, but LaPanta just sucks.

I equate Lapantsonfire to Paul Allen, but less obnoxious.

Out here we are just getting NBC crews for playoffs.
Thankfully no Pierre except 1st game.

Starting out with too many turnovers on D and they finally get one past Talbot....not what we wanted for a start.

Zach the energizer bunny evens the score at 1-1!
If we finish the 1st period tied the way we have played so far it's a win.

Allowing way too many centering passes right across the goal area.

Eker back on the ice. The way his knee bent on that hit I'm guessing they taped him up good for some support.

It's been a game of attrition. We need to start removing some Knights from the game. High sticking is legal in this one, so send Tuch or Stone to the dentist.

ZP has made me a believer. He's still got some game. I like to see him proving the coaches wrong.

D depth being tested.

Talbot can't let anymore in.

Special K needs to be even more special.

I will never, ever, understand Rask between Kirill and Zuccs.
Dig deep or go home.
Lots of cross-checks into boards un-called in this one.
Agree it’s time to get nasty.

It sucks watching him muck up plays time and time again while our most dynamic duo is helplessly watching.
We need to get some new centers for next season for sure.

Yup.
If we are going to lose let's make sure they are hurting and limping in to Colorado Sunday.

It was a fun season and this team did a hell of a lot better than I expected.
Tonight didn't go well, but they played hard and didn't quit.

I don't care for the Avs, but I hope they blow out Vegas in 4 games just like they did to St Louis.

I also don't care for the Avs, but I hope they make the Knights miserable. Sad ending here.
