Wild just moved two spots to #20. Must have thought the Bruins would snipe their guy.

Nice move having Tom Kurvers' youngest son make the pick.

I've never seen him, but the scouts love him. Always pick a goalie with talent.

Goalies always seemed to be an afterthought with Fletch. Now on to pick 24.

Now we have 2 young quality goalies to push each other.
One will stay on for years and the other will be good trade bait at some point.
Nice move, now we need a center!

Speaking of Fletcher....it sounds like he fleeced himself and Philly earlier today. LOL
Glad we don't have him any more.

Wallstedt has a 2.2 goal average and a .908 save percentage. That’s a great jumping off point for a young goalie. How’s your guy’s goalie coach?

ESPN broadcast just said that at least 3 other teams were trying to trade up to 20 for Wallstedt.

Brand new last year. Don't know much about him. Talbot and Kaapo did pretty well though.

I liked how both of them played. You can never have enough talent in back. You guys should pick the best dman on the board with 26. This draft has a ton of scorers that can be had later on.

Hunter Jones is also a pretty good prospect in the AHL.

The ESPN analysts are saying Lambos is an absolute steal at #26.

He sounds like he looked better at 16 than at 18 due to some health issues and bouncing around a bit. He supposedly already moves like a pro, which is a plus.

Sounds like he was a top 10 pick, until his season ending mystery medical procedure.

You dislike him because he is altogether unlikable. You're right. He is a smarmy weasel.

They said something about an ablasion? I don’t know how to spell it. My dad has esophageal cancer and he gets ablasion surgery a couple times a year to keep his esophagus open. I’m not sure if it’s the same type of surgery, but it’s pretty nasty.

I think the ablation was done on his leg.

Sorry to hear about your dad.

Thanks, TJ. He’s 86 years old and has lived about 3 lives already. He’s my hero.

Nolan Allen. A Seabrook clone? I hope he doesn’t trip over the blue line as often as Seebs did!

I just poured through a ton of draft sites and mocks. Pretty much everyone had Wallstedt going in the 7 to 10 range. The Wild were lucky in that they had the pick that would allow Edmonton to drop only two spots. There was a lot of competition for that pick.

Most mocks had Lambos going 15 to 19 despite the mystery health issue.
