ORIGINAL: Tom Sykes Still waiting for some improvement / evidence that we'll be better than last year. 8-9 / 9-8 doesn't promote a lot of discussion. there is absolutely no way we can see that until they are playing meaningful games. so take a deep breath. Enjoy the summer however you would do that and in the fall we will see if there is improvement. Not talking about incontrovertible evidence or even ocular proof. and people don't like it when I breathe heavily, whether I'm standing or posting too closely. and, although I plan to spend the rest of my summer sitting on air hoses, I won't thoroughly enjoy it unless we improve C, CB, TE and backup QB ... the weak links when we started the offseason. It's not so much that you breath heavily, it's more that you breath with your mouth. In a sense we did improve/address TE, inasmuch as the new regime apparently will be utilizing that position to a lesser degree. I assume that a healthy Irv Smith Jr. is better than Conklin,. You didn't mention improving DL play, but it should be greatly improved. A healthy Danielle Hunter is better than an injured not playing one. Zadarius Smith is better than Wonnum, I think Booth is going to be great at CB. Reed is supposed to be a better than average OL and I think he has center skills, but not quite certain about that. As for backup QB considering the track record of Cousins perhaps the Vikings are willing to roll the dice on that. Honestly there aren't enough capable backup QBs in this world for every team to have a decent one. I do get the concern though.
