I am a big ISM fan, and I’m actually upset that he got a visit from the Turk. If we pick up an upgrade at C, I’ll be happier than I am now.

If KAM and KOC really knew what they were doing ... they'd toy with the fan base ...

first, they'd titillate fans by cutting Mannion and Mond ... then they'd provoke them to rage by cutting Watts, Berry, Hand and ISM ... then they'd confound them by trading for Blacklock and Reagor ...

and, just when the darkness was, well, darkest ... then they'd trade for a legitimate center.

Making it so would make everything else trivial.

Stop freaking me out with all these back of the roster moves!

(And Watts is really a mid-roster guy ha)

Apologies, my irrational discourse has a way of sending posters into tizzies.

Great runingbacks, great wide receiver room and an improved o-line could give us a chance in the playoffs 😀 Did I mention a real backup QB!!!

I'm not going to freak out about back of the roster moves. Let these guys field the team they want and judge them on results, not projections.

That's right ... lets not discuss this team until after the first three or four games.

Because everything before that is hysterics.

Or a difference of opinion ... which for some apparently = hysterics.

Discuss is one thing, and definitive judgments another. Like Bill, I find it eyebrow raising that Reagor seems to drop a lot of punts. He has seemingly not impressed much in Philly, but ISM hasn't done one thing that I've seen that popped out. He had a very nice catch the other night along the sideline and a decent return of a punt that outkicked the coverage. At least one of his TDs last year, against a bad team, came when a defender fell or blew the coverage. I'm not dinging him for that stuff, but I'm not fitting him or Watts for a gold jacket, either. Watts is more mystifying, but you have no idea if he was fulfilling his assignments this summer or not, or if he has the characteristics the new regime is looking for. And maybe Blacklock has those traits or fits the scheme or whatever.

People who are claiming KAM is an idiot are not "discussing" his moves with the bottom (and middle, Bill was right) of the roster, they're freaking out about his moves. They have that right, but I'm not going to pretend it's reasoned or well-based.

Oh boy. I see what you did there.

[In the post before] Instead of just insulting the posters you disagree with ... you tried to present a reasonable argument ... even aligning yourself with pacifist Bill and his sledgehammer ... to contrast your sound reasoning with the preposterous cockamamie baseless rantings of a few maniacal posters that don't agree with your view. Before calling out those same freak jobs.

IMO very self-indulgent. And no more reasonable than anyone else in here.

Fine that you see it this way, but I was just joking with Todd. Do you, it's fine. I'm liking Kwesi and KOC, and I'm going to give them a chance to implement their priorities, their culture, their systems, their players, etc, before bleating about each move they make.

This is like the Lincoln - Douglas debates.

I recently went through Anna, IL, home of a Lincoln Douglas debate. Nice little town.

Not sure this would qualify for a debate there, though.

Exactly. Always a fun read, even if you disagree.

That was insidiously clever. Change course and make me feel like a bumbling ass for getting testy.

Well played. I’ll gird my loins for the next time.

I am optimistic with KOC and Kwesi, but I see an 0-2 start as being likely.

GB and at Philly.

3-3 at the bye, if they can win at N.O. I think they will beat Detroit and Chicago, and lose at Miami.

ZED and Hunter will prove you wrong. Return of the Purple people eaters against GB and a Reagor PR for a 2-0 start.

I love how interesting the 1st leg looks now.

I want to get off to a hot start!

Have to get it right to start. Confident, organized, proficient. Ball is rolling. Any W counts here but I want to look good.

Game 2 starts the groove for how much fun this team is going to be and how together they're going to be with Reagor scoring a PR and rec TD and we're just vibing. Feels like 09.

#3 is business at home.

#4 We put a stamp on it internationally. 4-0

Let's go!!!

Many times players give a little extra against their former teams, so ZED should play well the first week, and Reagor the 2nd week, I just wonder if it will be enough.

Kirk hasn't been tearing it up on the Vikes #1 defense, so I expect a slow start against the Packers, who have more continuity on defense than the Vikings. Packers probably edge the Vikes, I like the under in this one.

The Vikings 2ndary will really get tested in week 2 at Philly, their #1 and #2 WRs will probably be too much for the Vikes. A shootout where the Eagles prevail.

0-2 start I say.

Not happy about IMS being cut.. but..

If he is a locker room cancer.. so be it..

Dude was fast and had decent hands.. willing to go fight for a ball.. but if he ****ing with Jefferson and other attitude issues..

I’m willing to let him go…

Reluctantly..

And if those reports were false?

Connor Leatch@Athlete_Leatch
Just got off the phone with recently waived #Vikings WR Ihmir Smith-Marsette’s agent.

Sounds like the coaches believed his punt returning wasn’t up to par, and there was some tension in the locker room after he told rookie CB Andrew Booth “sleep with both eyes open, b*tch.”
