We also better get our ST's together, and soon, or we are out in the first round.

Last nights failure to hold a 2 goal lead against the Blues with 15 minutes to go could be a preview of our playoff success in the first round......
Not looking good. We play so good for stretches, but seem to late a few bad lapses ruin an otherwise good game.

Looks like Talbot is back to letting in softies. Benn was just embarrassing on the Schenn goal.

What happened to Bally Sports? They're showing some Arizona golf show instead of the Wild????

I got the same thing. It's playing on ESPN+, but it's blacked out in this area!

Nevermind. I'm going to go outside and watch a car crash. There will be less gore.

The Wild are down 0-3 only 15 minutes into the game, so it's probably good that we can't watch it live. LOL

Two things have happened. Bally finally started showing the game (on Bally X), and the Wild seemed to have scored twice. I might have to start watching.

We jumped back in when Bally's broadcast resumed and were lucky enough to see an exciting game, which seemed impossible after that start. Here's to the "never-say-never" mentality of this club.

For some reason the Wild always beat the Oilers with ease, and last night was more of the same with a 5-1 beat down.
Watching Brodin completely shutdown McDavid was a thing of beauty last night. Seeing 2 of the best skaters in the league going head to head with Brodin right in McDavid's face the whole time was as good as watching Kirill do his thing. Always a fun game to watch when it's the Oilers.

If only we could face the Oilers in the first round of the playoffs.

Ben Meyers signed with the Avs today.....
I wish him good luck, and hope the Wild kicks his teams ass every time we play them.

Damn! Fleury is the only thing keeping the Wild in this game.

And just like that a soft goal to tie it up early in the 3rd.

Some segments were tough to watch tonight, and it was looking a little grim at times. But the team didn’t quit.

Unfortunately for those of us watching on tv, we had to listen to the announcers who were clearly pulling for Dallas. We expect bias from home town announcers, but it bugged me from national ESPN announcers.

Perfect example - they made it sound like the Stars had some kind of pitiful disadvantage because one of their shots hit the pipe. Never mind that the same thing had happened to the Wild earlier in the game.

GRRR. They were so glad that Dallas at least got one point when regulation ended. News flash - BOTH teams got one point.

SMF and I were texting the same thing about the announcers during the game.

That was a grade a Duby Duh-oh, but Fleury looked like a contortionist the rest of the game. He kept a lot of high quality chances out of the net.

Loved the assist. He read the situation perfectly.

Yup, he certainly made up for the softy and made one hell of a pass in OT for the assist on the game winner.
I think we are in good shape in goal for a playoff run. Now we need to find a way to beat St Louis or else it will be another one and done......
