No way you get rid of Zuccs. His chemistry with Kaprizov is a key part of our success.

KK with a 4 minute high sticking penalty in a 0-0 game. Going to be tough to stop.

How can we find out the condition of that Vancouver player? I don’t even remember his name, but that looked like quite the nasty cut.

After a 0-0 first period the Wild win 6-3. Fiala two more goals.
We are tied with the Blues at 105 points, but we have a game in hand.
We are 1 point behind Calgary for the 2nd most points in the west with a game in hand.

Are we locked into playing the Blues first round and if so Why??????????
Why do the 3rd and 4th possibly the 2nd and 3rd teams in the west play each other?
Do you have to play your own division?

Fiala 5 assists and still a full period to go.
Started out slow, but sure found their legs the 2nd period.

Wild are one powerful scoring team. Spotted the Kraken a 2-0 lead then scored 6 in a row.

I can't recall the last time I saw a player with 5 in a game. Maybe he can get a couple more in the third and set a Wild record.

Gretzky had 7 assists in 3 different games. One other player in History had 7 a guy named Bobby Taylor Sr. As far as I can tell checking the history no Wild player ever had six so this has to tie the Wild record or set it.

So THIS is what it feels like to cheer for a team that actually has a shot at winning it all. What a crazy, fun, and rewarding game.

The Wild now have a 40 goal scorer,, two 30 goal scorers, three 20 goal scorers and three players with at least 50 assists. Before this season, they only had one player in history with 50 assists.

While I agree it is great to see the Wild kick butt like they did last night, but I would feel better if we could get a performance like that against the Preds tomorrow.
I expected them to beat up on the Kracken, it's the Preds, the Avs and the Blues I worry about.

Agreed. At home, home ice on the line, must win. A lot of fun offense. What wasn’t so fun was watching the first ballot HOF’er, who I keep hearing will turn it on during the playoffs, basically shooting it in his own net with these “worse” than Dubnyk moments……

Heading down to Des Moines in a couple of hours. We had tickets to an Iowa Wild game a couple of months ago that got cancelled because of covid, so today is our make-up game. The timing is great because the Iowa Wild are in a race to get in the playoffs, and this game is neatly sandwiched in between two Wild games.

The Iowa Wild play the Texas Stars, who beat them last night 1-0. I predict we turn the tables on them tonight. I know there will be several players I'm specifically going to focus on (like Rossi, Chaffee, Mermis and Addison). I also want to pay attention to whoever is in goal tonight, because we will be needing the next up-and-coming goalie as our back-up whenever Fleury hangs it up.

To me, he is playing himself onto the bench come playoff time.
We can't afford gaffes like he has had consistently against the Blues.

This is pretty much the same team we were talking about in the early season. They are outscoring their mistakes. It's a lot harder to do that in the playoffs. I guarantee you that we won't get away with falling behind the Blues 2-0 in a playoff game. The gaffs have to stop. The goalies can't give up any cheap goals. Otherwise it's going to be one and done.

At least the ST’s have gotten a bit better. Giving up shit goals and then bad ST’s is a recipe for a sweep.

He'll, I even saw someone beside Eriksson Ek win a face off.

Had a great time at the Iowa Wild game, even though we couldn't pull out a win. The teams were pretty well matched up, as evidenced by back-to-back 1-0 and 2-1 games. We had seats in row A, which means we were right on the glass, just shy of one of the blue lines. Tons of action right in front of us, including players checked into the board in front of us and pucks careening off the glass.

The atmosphere is fun. They do a lot of the fun "games" with fans on the ice between periods and after the game is over. Pretty good selection of concessions and a band playing in the main concourse before and during the game.

One of my favorite moments during warm-ups: Dakota Mermis' wife and infant son came down and sat in an empty seat about four down from us, and Mermis skated over and made silly faces for his son, who just smiled back. It was so cute. Wish I'd thought to pull my phone out at that.

Let's see if I can successfully upload a couple of pictures (some are blurry because the players just wouldn't stand still):
