Of course Ek, KK were special last night but Middleton and Jost were really good last night, the x factors....Middleton was so good on the defense side.

Someone is going to pay for that Crosscheck on Ek after his overturned hat trick.....they had to send a couple guys to the box but it was all on the Blues......EK was causing all kinds of problems for the Blues and frustrated the hell out of them.

After EK got the hat trick I considered it game over and started paying attention to other things. I sure was surprised to see the game end with KK having a hat trick and EK not. Can somebody tell me just what happened?

Offsides by Foligno a minute before the goal.

Not many hats left when KK got the trick.

For those that want to remember the North Star History...Dino had a hat trick in the playoffs in 82.

Always bring a spare hat.

And never wear a new hat to a hockey game unless you are willing to get rid of quickly.

Dino was the ultimate sniper. Couldn't skate or defend, but give him a look and he would put the puck in the net most of the time. Dino made his opportunities count.

Any time I go to a hockey game I bring a total POS hat just in case.

Anyone know of a reliable alt way to watch the game? It's on TNT and Turner and Fubo couldn't come to an agreement so I'm outta luck tonight.

Not sure Jeff, I thankfully get it on TNT and Bally Sports thru Xfinity. But I do pay plenty to have them in my package.

You can try streaming on nhlbite.com. You have to repeatedly close out annoying advertising popups in order to start the stream. Once you get the stream started, there are no issues.

KK gets a break away and ends up scoring from behind the net off the goalie.....2-0 less than 3 minutes into the game.

Blues are looking rattled the way they are running around trying to check us through the boards and hurt someone.

The skill of professional hockey players blows my mind. Was KK just trying to throw the puck in front of the net or was he trying to bank it in off the goalies skate. I think the latter.

Zuccarello made such a nice play to freeze the goalie and then beat him top shelf to make it 3-0.

This is key. The Wild aren't getting sucked into it. They aren't trying to muck it up with the Blues. The Wild just keeps playing their own game.

Is KK already a top 10 player in the NHL? Top 5? Is it strange to say he is the best NHL player for Minnesota all time?

What a nice win. It's hard to believe that these are the same two teams that played game 1.

Yup, jumped on them from the get go and never let them in the game. A perfect way to get home ice advantage back. I'd love to see them get a win Sunday and have a chance to win the series when they come home on Tuesday.

It was the Wild’s clever plan to lose the first game so they could wrap it up at home.

Here is what I like in the last two games. The Wild have flipped the script. The Blues are now the ones obsessing over what the Wild do and altering their play in response. St. Louis is trying to thug it up and draw the Wild into retaliation penalties. The Wild are just turning it out and playing their game.

Yup, the finally broke through and beat them so now they know they have it in them. Now it's a matter of playing their game and they should be good. Tomorrow will be interesting to see how the Blues want to play. I suspect it's going to be a little less gooning it up and more just playing hockey.
