What a great turn-around the last 2 games. The Wild have made the Blues pay on their aggressive style and haven't been chasing the puck nearly as much. It's nice to have some players that can bury it when they get a shot and create when they don't. The adjustments on the PK have been good too.

Does anybody know if the KK goal banked off the goalies skate made the SportsCenter top 10?
I YouTubed it and shockingly it didn't.

Talbot should be in goal for us. Fleury is weak.

Boldy goal makes it 2-3. Got to get the equalizer. Go Wild.

We didn't play our best, but were still in it until the end. If we cash in on a couple of chances we missed on it's a different game.
The last goal was a softie by Fluery, but otherwise this game was not on him. He kept us in it the first period when they were all over us.
Tied up 2-2 so now it's the best of 3 with two games at home, I like our chances.

The game was not on Fleury at all. Just a pathetic and disgusting team effort. The Wild played like they just happy to get their home ice back in game 3. They didn't seem to care that they had a golden opportunity to put the Blues on life support. They got their asses handed to them by a team that was skating 2.5 regular defensemen.

I had to listen to the game on the radio, and it was the Blues' broadcast (we were traveling), so I couldn't tell, but was that Blues goalie just lights out fantastic? It sounded like we pounded him, especially in the third period, and couldn't get anything past him, which was exactly the situation in game one with Husso in their net.

Very disappointing outcome when we had the chance to get a two game lead.

It's not and neither is a tied series. He's hardly, however, been this playoff special keeper that's stole a series for us. He's 'meh' and cost us assets. He's done nothing that Talbot/Kap couldn't have so far. His fault? Nope. Failed experiment by Bill so far? Yeap. Time will tell. We still have a couple to go.

Fleury was part of the disgusting team effort. I just hate the thinking that He's won it before so we have to play him. Talbot is a good goalie just as capable of winning as Fleury or more so IMO. IF we win this series it will most likely take 7 games to do it.

Agreed nothing wrong with him, but nothing particularly right with him. I presume he will start every game though.

I don't disagree with any of that. Not a worthwhile acquisition. I was surprised they didn't go with Talbot, but Talbot wouldn't have fared any better. Last game, the Wild were content to play in their own end of the ice until the 3rd period. That wasn't on Fleury.

Fleury is a HOF goaltender for what he has done in the playoffs....I haven't seen him be the shutdown goalie yet but I haven't seen Dubes of old either. I am more than fine with the acquisition for the simple fact it showed the players management wanted to win. Middleton, Delauris, Fluery, Jost---I am only upset that Jost cost us Sturm but there must have been a reason but I see the value of each.

Sturm was about to cost a lot more money on a capped out team. The Fleury trade was kind of necessitated by having to give up Kaapo to get Middleton. The hope was Fleury had one more great run in him. Yet another example that hope is not a strategy.

Fleury played very well in the second and third games.

On the other side, Husso played well in the first and poorly in the second and third games.

I focus so much on our own players that I forget that it's unusual to see any position player at full strength and top of his game for every outing.

For the record, when we first picked up Fleury the only thing I could remember was how well the Wild beat him when Fleury was with the Blackhawks, so I was definitely not a huge fan of the pick-up. He has performed better than I expected, but what I really want is a goalie to pitch a shut-out in every game.

We don't always get what we want, right?

It wasn't all about Fluery....Talbot played well after we signed Fluery and the team seems more confident with Fluery; would have been nice to find the equivalent for the Twins when they went the NY for the playoffs.

There is the Dubes from playoff series lost also.

The Greef line was noticeably bad except for Ek last game.

I wondered if Foligno was hurt, him and Greenway looked hung over, to my eyes.

Loved Moose lighting up some guys. Keep doing that if you can stay out of the box. #10 Blues needs a visit from #44 soon.

Although Fiala did get helpers on each of those goals, so he is producing points.

I asked before where KK ranks in the best professional Minnesota hockey players of all time. If he continues like this I see him as #1 no question.

We r done and the “flower” can Uber his way out of town. His fault? Not really but he gives a soft goal damn near every game, we didn’t have the fortitude. Hoping to be wrong
