These guys

You can say all you want, they never give up. What a win.

Damn! All I can do is read recaps right now. Haven't figured out how to get Wild games down here yet.

It's like Jeff said after the last one.; giving up a bunch of goals, tying late and winning in OT is not sustainable.

But we added a new twist. This time we won in a shootout.

ESPN+ app. It’s what I do out here. Only drawback is that local games are blacked out. Shouldn’t be much of a problem for you though since we rarely play the ‘Ning

I subscribed to ESPN+ for a game early in the year and it was pretty good quality streaming.
And it only cost as much as a foo-foo coffee at Starbucks per month....not a bad deal.

Tough sledding so far tonight. Going in to the 3rd down 2-1. Lee with both theirs and it's hard to get much going on them. It's just a guess but I'm thinking we trade Fiala at the deadline because Billy G won't extend him. He has very selfish habits overall and I don't see that jiving with our GM.

I’m in MT
ESPN Plus has blackouts for me on Seattle/Denver/ I assume Vegas like last year.
Stoopid.
Evason tried Goudreau between Kirill and Zucarello in 1st
Then Rask in 2nd. 🤮
Bad to worse.
Put EEK back dummy!
Rather have Addison out there than Merrill.
And Beckman over Rask
Any day and twice on Sundays…

Hopefully our youth shines
Over Islanders age in 3rd.
Both clubs on back end of back-to backs …

Dude, those blackouts suck! I understand the 'home team'. I live in San Diego. I get blacked out for Anaheim and LA. I can "sort of" get Anaheim but LA too?????

Dumba seems to be around our goal SO much
When the other team scores.
I need to look at his plus/minus, not sure how it isn’t atrocious.

When he signed as a FA I went 'meh'. He's been outstanding. Hell of a player.

Brodin!
Man he is good.
Such a change from 2 years ago when he seemed afraid of his own shadow.
Now he’s a stud.

Amazing win. This locker room might be special. Just so much depth

Fun to watch, especially in the 3rd!
Seems like that will bite us eventually,
But fun while it isn’t!

The Hartman extension is looking like a bargain.

Kind of a back and forth game as we seemed to dominate them in the first period, even when we couldn't get a puck past their goalie. Then the Islanders showed that they weren't ready to go home and it was game on.

What a nice, satisfying ending. And we didn't even have to go into overtime this time. This young group of "never give up" is going to be fun to watch for a long time.

I like having a Wild game to watch on Sunday nights to kind of rinse the bad taste in my mouth out after watching a Vikings game that afternoon.
This team seems to be improving as we watch and to think we have 4 or 5 young guys down in Iowa champing at the bit to get back up here is going to keep things fun.
Even with that cap hits from the Suter/Parise buyouts it's looking like we will be on the rise over the next few years.

Right now just about any positive experience helps wash the Vikings taste. Glad the Wild are fun.

We've thought about it for a couple of years but finally bought tickets to an Iowa Wild game. We'll be in Des Moines for the game against the Colorado Eagles on December 18th and, to make things even better, it's free hat night!

Sweet!

That sounds fun, if I was still living in Minny I'd be all about checking them out live.

Hopefully Boldy or Rossi make you throw your hat on the ice that night!

It would be cool if someone got a hat-trick, but no way am I throwing the good hat. Maybe I'll bring along a crappy hat to stick in my pocket just in case.

Make sure you fill us in on the experience of going down there to watch the Iowa Wild play.
I have been thinking that might be a fun weekend trip.
