The #Vikings have told him they won't be re-signing him. Classy move to call and tell him.

Maybe it wouldn't hurt to reference what player the Tweet is about?

I thought they weren't rehiring a tweeter. Is this about a player?

My guess is @kristiancasey4 asked Doogie about a player and that was Doogie's answer.

But we weren't given the context...

Top corners getting in 15M range.

Can we get Williams(Rams) or Ward(Chiefs) for 8-10M per?

It's been quite awhile since I vouched for getting a Packer, I think the Vikes should consider sniping CB Rasul Douglass from the Packers.

Of course it depends on FA, but it looks like Edge Rusher or CB at #12.

Why automatically assume the oft-injured Phillips is an upgrade?

Dudes got 1.5 career sacks. As for run D, Pierce was praised for excelling in that.

Experience, production, overall health (GS) mean little … an analytics whiz sees right through that and goes right for throat, birthdays.

‘Baby Pierce’ Phillips is going to blow it up.

4 years younger than Pierce. Hasn't missed many games last two years and is cheaper.

Tore ACL in 2019, played 14 games in 2021 with a tore PCL (Pierce missed half the year).

In the last three years, he has missed an entire season, and spent most of another with an injury. Basically healthy one out of three where he was healthy, aside from the normal stuff.

Enough with the age thing, it's getting creepy.

Cherry picking is so much fun!

That is one of the five. He is younger, took less, played more games, plays hurt, and was rated better.....who is cherry picking?

During the 2021 campaign, Phillips accumulated 51 tackles (four for a loss) and one sack. Pro Football Focus graded him as the 15th-best interior defensive lineman in the league last season (out of 110).

PFF’s Ben Linsey ranked Tomlinson as the 17th best interior defensive lineman in the league. Pierce came in at No. 26.

Geez, do you have to post everything about him on the two active threads?

OK, he had a sack. That doubled his prior production. Whoo hoo.

Hope he is the under the radar type regardless of your man love for him.

I cheer for humiliating losses now. And it's working.

Time to start over. Big time. Kobe was a Laker for life. He deserved the farewell tour with a crappy team. LBJ was a gun for hire. He got them one title, BYE.
