Naz may have played his last game in a Wolves uniform. Although he has surprisingly made it work OK in recent games with KAT and Rudy available, I doubt the Wolves will try to make that a long term situation.

Naz has had a great contract year. He's going to get paid, but probably elsewhere.

He's excelled since he took over Nowell's role.

It's unusual to have a "big" as your 6th man/main bench scorer, but its worked really well.

And since we've been playing him more like a Big Wing than a Big, he's finally started to click with Gobert a bit too.

I'm less convinced he plays elsewhere next year unless some team throws a huge offer at him. If we can keep him for something around the MLE, he's a viable 6th man, but also a decent trade asset at that price.

The play were he hurt his wrist...the Phoenix big basically swatted at his nose twice hard....should have been a technical foul plus Naz ended up landing on his wrist.

Not really a big conspiracy guy but does anyone else get the feeling the refs are going to do their best to get the lakers get in the playoffs, and out of the play in if possible.

I’m braced for another lopsided refereeing night. But no excuse. That’s life in the NBA. Just need to fight through it. Get ahead enough that refereeing isn’t a factor.

2nd half of the Phx game was so bad it is hard to not think conspiracy

Sounds like the Wolves simply just shit the bed last night.

No ref hit job last night. The wolves did it on their own. They went flat in the second half after a beautiful first half.

Looking like we'll have to win out just for a chance to get the 7th seed. Six looks out of reach.

Stick a fork in this team. They lose a must win game at home to the Trail Blazer bench team.

Those kind of games get coaches fired.

Horrible effort. Last shot attempt was ridiculous.

Finch is a natural fall guy. If the Wolves miss the playoffs it will be from the continuous face plants against the dregs of the NBA. It's hard for a coach to survive that. Especially when he is not the current POBO's hire.

The Wolves sported a 5-10 record against the 5 worst teams in the league.

4 of Portland's 5 starters didn't even suit up.

Finch is a dead man walking.

Biggest upset in 30 years based on Portland being 19 point underdogs. Yet just about everyone is in the mix.

I would seek to trade KAT. He's a head case and not a winner. I'd even consider trading Gobert.

Couldn't you go with Garza and Naz at the 5 for pretty cheap and relatively effective?

Get better at the point and the 3 and build around ANT!

Everything should be on table except ANT.

Blows my mind that 5 First rounders get's you Gobert but 4 First Rounders gets you Durant.

Ainge must have been laughing his ass off.

You realize Brooklyn got a superstar 2-way wing in the Durant deal, right?

Durrant is 2 time finals mvp and true Super Star. If the Wolves could have gotten Durrant for KAT and 4 First Rounders I would have taken it.

Wolves traded 5 first round picks for a role player.

They couldn't. Mikal Bridges is a much more valuable player than KAT.

And Durant is a huge gamble as well. He's played 6 games for Phoenix and hasn't been healthy since 2018.

Wolve's wasted 5 first round picks trying to build around KAT for about the 3rd time. It has been 1 year and I seriously doubt they could get 2 first rounders at this point for Gorbert. Ainge had the Wolves trading against nobody but themselves.

Canis:

Jaden McDaniels punched a wall in the tunnel and is now done for the day, after Rudy Gobert got sent home for trying to strike Kyle Anderson in a huddle.

Wolves two best defenders let their frustration boil over and each took themselves out of the game.
