the guys trade value is 0 unless someone wants to get off a looot of contract this season. could be a make weight in a westbrook trade. shooting all time low from 3. guy knows he is never going to get money like that again and watching doncic come in and make him look terrible must really hurt his confidence.

So in retrospect Butler was right. Didn't go about it the right way at the end, but perhaps he was saying it loudly within the walls of the locker room.

I was pleading for his trade last year. Just not a fan of his game. Value is low now.

His value has been low for years.

Golden State only traded for him to preserve Durant's salary slot.

And then Rosas bid against himself - twice!

Awful first quarter. The team is still in the same funk as the previous game. Struggling to figure out who they want to be.

Better second quarter. Forced to go small with Naz inactive and KAT and Gobert in foul trouble. McDaniels is the ‘big’ and playing great.

Oof. Ant, D’lo and Gobert return and Phoenix’s run starts. Admittedly, their starters came back in too, but still…

At half, McDaniels at +3. Everyone else is negative, 5 are double digit negative.

It pains me to agree with Charles Barkley who regularly slams the Wolves, but I’m thinking of a a quote he said after the last Phoenix game. Something to the effect of “It’s no sin to lose to Phoenix, but it is a sin to play stupid.”

I'm not surprised. We look like the Twins out there.

Luke Garza called up from Iowa. Will be available tonight.

This is the dawning of the age of Luke Garza.

I would love if he gets some minutes, but he's really just up as an emergency big since Naz is out.

Good news: with Gobert in the middle, Ja is settling for floaters and jumpers. Big change from his devastating drives in playoffs.
Bad news: He’s making them.

Entertaining quarter. The wolves definitely have a fire lit under them for a change, but down 3 because Memphis is just good.

Feels like playoffs in November. This is a good rivalry in the making.

It was an accurate take after one quarter. It was entertaining competitive basketball. That didn’t imply it couldn’t go south.

And I still do think it’s a good rivalry.

Towns with a new stylish hairdo. Everything’s going to be different now. Everything’s going to be fine. I can feel it.

Ant looks like he's finally lost that "10 pounds of muscle"...

Finally starting to look like himself again.

At the risk of making another ‘stupid’ 1st quarter post…

Good Edwards showed up. On pace for 76 which I have no doubt he’ll get.

11 team assists. Very good.

I admit I didn’t think much of Anderson at first but he’s growing on me. He’s going to end up being an important piece by season’s end. Like Prince, providing stability and smart play of the bench.

And then he gets a dumb technical foul. I’m poison. Poison I tell ya.

WTF is up with Sacramento? I just saw the blurb where they torched Brooklyn for 153 and their 4th straight win last night.

Peja and Chris Webber must have went off.

And then Prince gets tossed for a flagrant. My two ‘smart’ guys.

Rudy is having a tremendous 4th quarter. Lead had slipped to single digits but he was the key to putting the game away.
