And we give them a late one on a turnover and then KK gets frustrated and commits a penalty....we don't deserve to win with that stupid crap happening.

Just another normal Wild game.....we still can't score goals. If we give up 3 we are toast.

Yeap.

I'm gonna take some heat for this but it's cool. I told a fan from Southern MN about a year ago that I think KK is vastly overrated by the MN media/fans. He's a very good player but he's not great. He's paid like he's great but it's the same effect as Parise/Suter had. The team, and it's fans, are so starved for greatness that they get excited and pay that for 'very good'.

Don't get me wrong, very good player but he will never take over a game at this point. He could do that very early on because he was unique and took the league by surprise. They have him figured out now.

KK is a bit overrated, but dear God in Heaven he is in a whole other class than Parise and Suter.

Agree but you missed my point. I'm not talking about talent/impact. All 3 were/are paid like elite level talents and none are/were. They were all paid as "highest in the league" guys.

Oh, I get what you are saying and I put Spurgeon in that category too. I'm just saying KK is a lot closer to being worth what he is paid than Zach or Suter. He also isn't a pissy prima donna like those two.

And then there's the 3rd and 4th line level talent all locked up for 2-3 more years with varying NMC's effectively blocking out any of our young talent from gaining any real NHL experience. It's like Guerin is saying, "you guys have 3 years to make a run and then you're done." I suspect once we are done with the cap hell this team will change dramaticly in a hurry.

I have a feeling we are going to get beat badly by Dallas tomorrow and then we are off to Sweden for 2 games next weekend. Maybe the long break between games is just what they need.....

Can't the Wild get someone better than Anthony LaPanta? Feels like a participation trophy.

So what do you propose the Wild should have done about it?

I doubt it will help. The Wild are just a poorly constructed and poorly coached team.

I have to agree. I'm think Guerin is second guessing his decision to re-up a bunch of those older guys now.

I couldn't watch so this is just a guess but I bet our goaltending sucked again last night. I check nhl.com and it was 3-2 in the first. Giving up 3 in the first is a bad sign. Saw the final at 8 and went "yeap, sounds right"

I tuned in for the start of the game and tuned out after the 1st goal.....here we go again. LOL
Checked back off and on and from what I saw from replays Floppy was at his best in flopping and kicking rebounds right to their guys just waiting for rebounds. Or else they were wiring shots over his shoulder....nobody has been good lately.

Woohoo! Evason shuffling the lines again.

Kaprizov- Rossi- Zuccarelo

Johanesen - Ek - Boldy - wouldn't Fiala look great across from Boldy

Who cares - Who cares Who cares

Who cares Who cares Who cares

Four dazzling combinations. We can now report to the captain of the Titanic that the deck chairs have been rearranged.

Looks like the same lines they have used the last few games to me....

It tends to look that way when you only have 3 legitimate top 6 players.

Good guys are down 2-1 in the second. It looks like Rossi and Zuccarelo have benefitted from playing together with both getting points in consecutive games. Unfortunately, the goal was to ignite Kaprizov, which hasn't happened.

It appears more and more that Jeff is right when he says KK is a very good player being paid like a super star player....he just isn't producing anything above good so far this season.
We got another point today....yippee.

I so hope I’m wrong. Some people are speculating that he has personal problems he’s dealing with. I think teams have him figured out. He was really unique when he came in.

I think if it was a matter of teams figuring him out, it would have happened a long time ago.
