I don’t think so. Looked like the play was well over by the time the ball came out. He landed with control, maintained it and then it was knocked out.

Smith is still as good as anyone blitzing, but he’s been a coverage liability for a few years. He still gets picks, but they’re the “playing centerfield” variety.

I'd have to see the replay again. Seemed ro lose control when he hit the ground. One day maybe they will simply the rules. Too many moving parts. The way the offense is playing it seems moot. Defense now too.
