Edwards now has a mere 4 turnovers in the last 4 games. Better decisions earlier in the shot clock. It's making Ant and the whole team more effective.

9 Turnovers the previous 2 games.

A switch flipped.

The 9 TO's didn't even tell the whole story. They don't include the offbalance, heavily contested 3's he took after pounding the ball on the floor for 15 seconds.

Also really interesting with all the talk of how teams can go small, play "5 out" and play Rudy off the court, the very opposite happened against the Clippers where we completely overwhelmed them to the point that Lue (a really terrific coach) had to abandon the idea and try to match size as best he could.

Bodes well for the Playoffs.

Again, I come with out the statistics, but it sure seems like Rudy is doing a great job on end of game free throws. Seems to be to the point that the hack a Rudy is not a good strategy.

I wish they tracked how many times a game guys enter the paint and immediately bail because Rudy is waiting.

Happens all the time.

I think this may be the best of Rudy ever. I wasn't a fan of the trade, but his ability to anchor the defense has been impressive, and has won me over. Let him do what he do. His impact on defense has been so consistent. The altered shots and no shots are a thing of beauty. Low key our MVP?

Absolutely. He's been the key to our defense. And the difference between this team and those Utah ones is we actually put good perimeter defenders around him, so he's no an island.

That has mostly been just talk. Who has done that successfully against us?

I like it when they try.

No one has been able to do it against us, but it was the book on Utah since they had mostly awful defenders around him.

Tuned in about 5 minutes of the AS game yesterday. I had to change the channel before I lapsed into a boredom induced coma. All Star games are just a complete of everyone's time.

Adrian Wojnarowski@wojespn
Minnesota Timberwolves G Mike Conley Jr. has agreed on a two-year $21 million extension, Steven Heumann and Jess Holtz of @CAA_Basketball tell ESPN. The Timberwolves keep Conley Jr. out of summer free agency and in backcourt thru 2025-2026.

Plus you add that DeLo's contract extension was 2/36 prior to the season with a player option for next year.

Does anyone here trust Paul Allen's NBA takes? Is he smart about professional basketball?

You might know more about professional basketball than Paul Allen...

Congrats ladies & gentlemen…
I’m enjoying watching your boys play this year…
Ant Edwards closest I’ve seen to Jordan since Kobe (More athletic then Kobe)
Kinda love the return to the use of centers/ bigs that seemed to go away for quite some time..

Good luck, and I’ll see you all in years (Hopefully not decades) when my Blazers figure it out again.

I just laugh and shake my head. J PeTe 2 and DL both said Lillard was done 3 years ago. But he's burying the young Wolves tonight. How?

Idiotic end of game management. Gotta foul when down 4 points and 50 seconds left. Extend the game!!!!

And again...should have fouled. Take the chance they miss the free throws and save some clock. But no. They let Lillard play them like a fiddle.

He beat the Wolves late tonight and denial runs deeper than the Mississippi.

Yes, Lillard beat us with 21 points, shooting 35% on 23 shots. It had nothing to do with Giannis scoring 33 points on just 13 shots.

With the reports that Lore & ARod are “still raising funds and are about $600M short” should we be concerned about ownership’s willingness/ability to keep this team together and pay heavy tax penalties? Why or why not?

Nah.

There is a difference between having hundreds of millions in liquid assets in pocket to purchase a club and using club revenue to pay for annual expenses/salaries.

Unfortunately this is the same injury that ended Joe Mauer's rookie season after only 35 games.
