Bwahaha...Wolves have to play Phoenix. IF they win that they are on the road against Nuggets. IF they win that they are on the road against OKC. Too funny. Wasted season.

We're going to lose in the 1st round to Phoenix.

Things could not have gone worse for us today.

Whatever Finch has been game planning against Phx this year he better change it. I still think we have the deeper team and it will show in a long series. But agree this is a tough match up for us.

In the Playoffs, depth really only makes a big difference if you have injuries.

Rotations shorten and minutes increase.

Phoenix is completely healthy for the first time in a while. When they are at full strength they have equal or better talent and depth as the Wolves. This is as tough a #6 seed as you can get. Not even to mention they seem to have our number.

This will be tough.

I’m not saying there is no chance though. Playoffs are a whole new thing. I think the oddsmakers have it about right making Phoenix a favorite but only slightly so.

What team in the NBA has 3 perimeter defenders better than Jaden, NAW, and Ant?

We should be able to defend these guys.

It is because NAW comes off of the bench and Conley isn't what he once was on defense. So it is one person short on the rotation.

Some suggested KAT off the bench and NAW or Anderson starting to match up.

If we're this worried about the #6 seed then the Wolves aren't much of playoff threat in the first place. When the Twins won in 87 & 91, they won ALCS series against two teams that absolutely owned their asses in the regular season. You want to win a championship then make the adjustments and send Phoenix packing.

An assistant coach for the Wolves named Mike just said the Wolves knew they were playing the Suns in the playoffs no matter what, either as the 2 vs 7 matchup or the 3 vs 6 matchup. So that's why the Wolves didn't want to show the Suns everything they had for them. That's what led to the loss vs the Suns in the last game of the regular season.

OK, not saying he's singing a song and BSing, but I think the reason TWolves lost last Sunday was what? 18 turnovers in the first qtr.

What does DL think of that explanation by Micah?

That’s what I wanted. Not just a win. Punch them in the mouth.

The Wolves dominated the boards 52-28. And 13-3 offensive boards and 20-6 second chance points. Suns had no answer for us inside.

They also had no answer for Edwards in the 3rd quarter. He just toyed with them.

Everything was smarter today.

NAW and McDaniels made Booker a complete non-factor.

KAT defending KD worked great and he played a terrific game. Totally in control on both ends.

Gobert showed why he won’t be “played off the court”. His defense was spectacular - especially when he was out defending the perimeter.

There was nothing flukish or non-repeatable that we did today.

Still a long way to go, but if the wolves do come out on top in this series, I hope Finch and his staff get the credit they deserve. This shows what they can do when given a week to prepare for an opponent.

It was a great game for the Wolves and Ant. We've seen this from Ant many times. Win or lose the series Ant has to be recognized as one of the best in the NBA.
He's been my guy since we drafted him. So much energy and confidence. Hard to find anybody more fun to watch. Still young and developing, more to come!

Taylor is such a slime bag, it's unreal. I'm not a lawyer, but the more i read about it, the more I can't see him winning. He's probably just hoping to leverage more money out of Lore and A-Rod.
