Having Conley back was huge. McDaniels was a difference maker as well. Towns was better, but we need more from him to win Game 7. Ant
is Ant. Still evolving and he will have tough shooting games now and then, but he is the present and the future of this team. What a pleasure to watch him in a Wolves uniform!

That was Town's best game of the Playoffs. He was clearly laboring to run up and down the court and had no lift on his jumper. But even on 1 leg, he rebounded the ball like a demon and played the best defense on Jokic I've seen.

Towns was getting some praise by media, and that’s pretty insightful considering his box score was not that great.

And yes, he is the best matchup to be the primary defender of Jokic. That leaves Rudy free to roam and protect the lane, and be a help defender. That’s his best role.

I don’t need any more Towns drives where he piles into the defense like a fullback on 4th and 1. I would like to see him get more 3 looks though. He’s one of the best 3 point shooters in the league. And when a big man does that it stretches out the defense.

Same with Naz to an extent. Naz is great at deciding whether to take the 3 or drive. And his drives are usually much better than Towns actually. But in the playoffs he’s been a little out of control on them.

Towns is absolutely the key to winning this series, which is frankly scary. He has played great in the 3 wins. He made bad decisions and picked up dumb fouls in the 3 losses.

He needs to stay disciplined guarding Jokic. Contest with arms straight up and don't swipe down. No ticky tac fouls, no charges, no contact away from the ball on offense. He did all of that last game and stayed on the floor. Finch was rotate fresh bigs on Joker at regular intervals. As a result, they forced Jokic into those few extra misses.

Repeat that performance and hit a few 3's and the Wolves win IMO. If he gets in foul trouble in the first quarter and shows his frustration, we're screwed.

As mercurial as he is, Towns is the 3rd most talented player in this series. When he's on his game, it makes all the difference in the world.

OKC is out. Win tonight and the Wolves have home court advantage over the Mavs.

I have the sense that the NBA finals is tonight.

I think that’s premature. I do think either us or Denver beat Dallas. But Dallas is a much improved defensive squad since adding Washington and Gafford.

Boston isn’t a given. They’ve coasted through the Playoffs so far, but they’re a really good offense and defense and they have much better defending guards than anyone on the Nuggets.

Don't put NAW back on the floor the rest of the night. He's killing us.

Jaden and Kat were carrying us offensively, seeing signs of ANT warming up. Down 1 going into the 4th, I'll take it. Time for ANT to take over.

Win the Quarter!

Minnesota fans seldom get to celebrate things like this. To win 3 games in Denver? Are you kidding me?
McDaniel, Towns and crew came up BIG when we needed it. What a team effort again tonight!

This is the only game where a team came back from double digits to win though right?

When Wolves got down by 10+ I thought it was over...

Considering the Wolves lost 2 of 3 at home to Denver, and won 3 of 4 at Denver, homefield might not mean much.

The Wolves might arguably be the best team left, but it's about matchups. The Wolves have to be careful not to be too high coming off beating the champs, only to fall flat and lose game 1 to the Mavs.

Dallas isn't the same team we faced in the regular season. Added PJ Washington and Gafford....so it may be another battle.

Hey Murf! Good to see you posting.

1989 when the Wolves came to town I was a Freshman at the U. Went to several games at the dome, very cheap seats up high, had the hat and the sweatshirt. Many years of ineptitude to toil through. This was a nice payoff, but we deserve more.

Towns did give us more and we won Game&!!!!

Towns had a very Jekyl and Hyde game. He played good defense on Joker. That's strange to say, give that Joker scored 35. You'll never shut him down, but you can force him to miss some extra shots over the course of the game. Jokic was 13 for 28 and Towns was a big part of that. Towns also hit some big shots in big moments. There was also...as always...the absolute dumb ass fouls. Defensive fouls well away from the basket and offensive fouls. It's like he just can't help himself.

Why did the announcers keep calling that guy named Braun "Brown," when his name clearly is "Braun?"
