In the post game presser, a reporter talked about the idea that you had to suffer the big loss before you can have the big win and the Wolves hadn't suffered the big loss yet. KAT and Ant's reply was great.

KAT: We lost last year.
Ant: We lost 2 the last ears in a row
KAT: We've been losing for the last 20 years. God damn, how much losing do we gotta do?

The could've added, "And games 3, 4, 5 weren't enough for you?"

Those 2 together for any postgame are very good.

Their contrast of styles is hilarious

Just like Matt Ryan's contribution to NE coming back in the SB, and the Vikings coming back to beat Indy in the largest comeback in NFL history, besides the T-Wolves playing well (despite their missing a fair amount of shots), there are a few things Denver did to help the T-Wolves come back.

Denver should have rested Jokic a bit, he looked gassed, and he was trying too many 3 point attempts when Denver went up by 20, he should have gone to the rim more.

But we are happy Denver did these things, but Denver could easily be back into it next year with a few adjustments. Which is another reason the T-Wolves need to take advantage and hopefully win it all this year.

He was very gassed as the defense made him work the whole game.....the whole Denver team was dog tired into the 4th. That is what a good defense does to teams; not just one player.

Steven A. Smith asked KG if he was going to go to any Wolves WCF games. KG said “I got to”. So it sounds like he’s temporarily willing to set aside his feud with Glen.

A lot of fans obsess too much about bringing KG back for this or that or having him involved with the team somehow. I usually don’t really care. But it would be cool and fitting to have him at a game or two.

Who can recommend a good match-up analysis?

My sense is that Naz is going to have a huge series. And McDaniels needs to stay out of foul trouble. But other than the obvious...

Players are shooting 38.9% when guarded by Anthony Edwards in the playoffs.

That’s the lowest mark in the NBA.

Congratulations for Gobert making 1st Defensive Team (only player with unanimous 1st place votes) and McDaniels for making 2nd Team!

The irony is McDaniels is better.

A Couple or maybe a few things: 1) they don't play the same position (as each spot is a position on 1st vs 2nd), 2) T Wolves are a +111 in the playoffs with Gobert on the court (Ant is 2 at +103), and 3) Gobert's 4th DPOY this year and 7th Defensive First Team......so the DPOY isn't going to make the First Team?

A couple things. The All-Defensive teams are positionless this year - hence 4 Centers on the 1st team.

This was Gobert's 4th DPOY.

I thought I read 4 before this year but he also has 7 1st Team All Defensive Teams now.

‘Better’ depends on your definition. McDaniels is no doubt a great one on one defender but Rudy alters teams’ offense more. They are afraid to go the rim against him. You see it over and over.

Hate being "that guy", but.... people who haven't attempted a shot have no shooting percentage. It's not 0%, it's Null or undefined. You can't divide by 0.

Why does Luka Doncic only have a 41% chance of making the Hall of Fame?

I think Jerry Zgoda is being deliberately provocative. In running down the match ups, he gave Irving the edge over Ant.

To be fair, one WILL be in the Hall of Fame, and one might.

I haven't watched a lot of NBA over the years, is the showboating like McDaniels tried to do near the end of the game something to be concerned about ?

It reminded me of Leon Lett nearing the end zone in the Super Bowl, only to get the ball knocked away.

Next year, against Denver, I wouldn't be surprised if he received a rather hard foul.
