You have the GM knowledge, how and what could we get for him?

I honestly have no idea. All I know is that it'll be much easier to trade him at this upcoming trade deadline than the offseason for salary matching purposes.

But I just don't know what his value is. Can you get Quickley, Robinson and a handful of picks from NY?

IMO, the big miss was likely trying to jump over Indy and trying to get Haliburton for KAT a couple years ago.

I would be overjoyed with Robinson, Quickley and picks.

Haliburton is ridiculous. Last I checked he had over a 50% assist rate. Obviously not sustainable, but he can adjust his game for whatever is needed. Patient, more than capable scorer, but clearly likes getting his teammates going early.

On edit: Sacramento really screwed up with Haliburton as well.

You really couldn't ask for a better backcourt mate for Ant.

No joke, that would almost be unfair.

It’s going to be super interesting to see if Connelly trades him at the deadline or keeps him for a playoff run

I'd be all for trading KAT. He has reached a place where his game is not going to progress. He's just going to try to brute force his way to success instead of trying to further hone his game. And he'll just get frustrated when it doesn't work.

But if the Wolves remain contenders it would be precarious to trade someone midseason who's seen as one of your 'stars' even if he is a problematic one. GMs generally don't want to rock the boat too much when the team is successful. They're trying to add stars not move them.

I suppose if we get like an established backcourt name and a draft pick fans could accept it. I know I sure could.

The big issue with trading KAT is if you do it before the deadline, you only have to match his 36M. If you wait until the offseason, that number balloons to 52M.

Maybe swap KAT for Embild. Maybe Embild has told Philly he would like to move on.

Embiid is much more valuable than KAT.

KAT got off to a very shaky start, but really came alive after the play where he didn’t get the call and busted his ass back in defense to block the shot.

Very good game for KAT. Credit where credit is due.

Wembanyama is going to be everything he’s billed to be. He’s almost there now. He plays with some rookie uncertainty, but he still put up 29 points and blocked 4 shots. He’s going to be scary once he really locks in,

Rudy is becoming the player they wanted him to be. He is a presence on defense, affecting how opposing offenses operate. Something he seemed to do only sporadically last season until the end of season and playoffs when he finally turned it on somewhat more. And on offense he’s more accepting that no every single possession is not going to be a lob to him.

Very smart of SA to basically play Wemby as a big wing on offense right now. He just doesn’t have the strength to take the ball inside.

If he can stay healthy, he’ll be very special.

Best Wolves team since KG/Cassell in 2004 and maybe best Wolves team ever.

Big win tonight.

Scary when we emptied the bench and our player jacks one 5 seconds into the shot clock.....probably not what Finch had planned.

Canis article is showing Curry as OUT for tonights game. Important for the Wolves to show up and win opportunities like this. I hadn't seen how bad the CP3 dive into Conley was till I saw the replays. How on earth does that turn into a foul on Conley??

CP3 gets all the calls---the wolves are actually starting to get some calls. Mostly Ant.

Ooh tonight's game counts as a tournament game. Is everyone psyched? This tournament has captured America's imagination.

I think its cool. Especially for the coaches and lower paid guys.

Here are the payouts for each player and member of the coaching staff, based on where the team finishes in the knockout rounds:

Lose in quarterfinals: $50,000
Lose in semifinals: $100,000
Lose in finals: $200,000
Win finals: $500,000

Anthony Edwards on winning Player of the Week:

"I was just like, that's cool, appreciate it... It was cool, man. It was dope for them to recognize that. But I'm just trying to get better every day. I'm not really worried about it, for real... That's what I'm here for. I don't really need accolades for that. I don't even really care, for real."

KAT actually stayed composed as did Gobert after being put in a choke hold by Green.....Looking like Jaden may need a little work also on his composure.....tough win last night.
