Was behind so never commented. Made fried chicken and waffles and my mom and aunt showed up out of the blue at 11:45AM so I just put it on pause. What a game!!! Sure I wish we daggered them but protecting a BIG LEAD is also a great way to win a game. I haven’t seen that in 100 years. LOVE dobbs. Love this team! I feel like I’ve been released from jail after so many years of watching predictable formula boring mediocre football. I DGAF if it’s a comeback win or if the qb leads the league in taking stupid hits in the pocket. SKOL VIKINGS!!!

Up by 21 at halftime the Offense should have ONE goal in mind the entire second half. KEEP GETTING FIRST DOWNS. Bleed the clock. and occasionally end those drives in points. Any points. FGs are ok. Just keep getting first downs.

We went three and out way too many times. Winston can beat you but he beats himself more often than not, it was only a matter of time before he threw pics. You can't count on that though. You need to, on offense, keep the chains moving and we didn't. they got TOO conservative. and it nearly cost us the game.

Defense was a B+ at worst in the first half and a c+ in the second. They only gave up 3 points in the first half. they gave up 16 on two TDs with 2 pt conversions. and they had a chance to tie at the end.

Special teams,,, missed a FG and should have punted that last one out of bounds. I had memories of Desean Jackson vs the Giants happening on that one.

Hockenson playing (and succeeding on such a high level) through that rib pain makes him the ultimate gamer. I was astonished to see him force his way up off the turf over and over again after making catches, taking hits, and landing hard.

... and that is usually a great way to lose a game.

Thankfully, Jameis...well Winstoned the Saints late.

In KOC's defense, he hasn't had a lot of experience with Kirk getting him 3 TD leads by halftime.

Hopefully Dobbs (or any other Vikings' QB) will get KOC more 3 TD leads by halftime.

Also, the Vikings DID win this game.

Being more aggressive, could also have led to the Saints coming back, and the Vikings losing the game.

I think you should play it more conservative against teams that are about equal (like NO), or lesser. Against what is probably a better team (Philly or KC), I would agree with staying aggressive in the 2nd half, if you have a 3 TD lead by halftime.
