Stop trading draft future draft pick..

It’s that fn simple..
If the GM can’t draft players, fire him..

That’s his FN job. Identify weak ass players, like Bradbury and replace them

If it is a player like Sauce or Lawrence. Young elite players that are reasonable...you make the move.

Draft, trade, Free Agency, UDFA....all are ways to get better.

Vikes acquired Romo to kick. Our regular kicker goes to the IL. When will he be eligible to return?

Trading the uncertainly of a draft pick for a known (good) commodity is not a bad move (not like what the Cowboys did today snickering). Especially if you have a year or two of control after this season. If we gave up the rest of our 2025 draft and got Lawrence or Sauce....I wouldn't be terribly upset as long as they are inked beyond this year. Cause your adding an all pro level player at a premium position.

I see DT Quinton Jefferson is signing with Bills. I wonder if we made an effort to sign him.

Are we counting on Dallas Turner turning a corner and having Cashman back to improve the defense? Colts game was fools gold for defense. Flacco was awful.

Lawrence has shoulder injury. We might be up against Mac Jones.

I generally don't have much time for whiny WRs... but Addison might have a point.

Easy TD here... and I'm guessing it's not the only instance:

"The Vikings designated edge defender Gabriel Murphy to return to practice. Murphy was a much-heralded UDFA out of UCLA who was graded as a mid-round pick by many but wound up getting placed on injured reserve by the Vikings during their final cutdown. This opens his 21-day window to be placed on the active roster, meaning the Vikings have until Nov. 27 to decide on him."

Here's Cousins needing a FG to tie:

4th & 4 at NO 43
(0:06 - 4th) (No Huddle, Shotgun) K.Cousins pass short left to R.McCloud pushed ob at NO 44 for -1 yards (U.Amadi).

Sooo familiar.

It's a good thing Trevor Lawrence was injured, or the Vikings probably lose that game.

This had nothing to do with who was at QB for the Jags. The D was fantastic. This was all on our QB. Its simple. If your argument was TL would have done "enough" to get a win, fine. It doesn't change the narrative, IMO.

NOOOOOOO!

Darnold is “GEQBUS”..

JJM is too old and always injured… we could get am entire draft of picks 1-7 for JJM, if kwesi plays the draft right..

OMFG..

Your team is in field goal possible range.. its third and one..

Cam Ackers or AJGreen could probably get that, letting you milk another minute 30 off the clock and then go up by 8..

KOC: “ let’s call a slow development pass play, against a desperation, do or die blitz, with-an OL that has been getting pass pro punked, every god damn time..

They will never guess in gonna call a play from the shit list of failed ideas from earlier….”

Yea Playoff caliber coaching.. on the road, against a back up QB and a team, whose landmark wins were against the colts and patriots @ home.

I'm questioning o'connell's ability as a play caller for mccarthy next season...there were two wr's in one space again yesterday, slow developing plays, no running rhythm, and bad running plays that are not getting positive yards - o'connell calls different plays when jones is not playing, and it's hurting the run game - it's not the runner's fault there are defenders all over him when running wide....

is o'connell going to give mccarthy the best opportunity for success with him calling the plays in 2025?...i don't know....

You need to separate Reddit stuff from Talk Vikes stuff.

GEQBUS was coined on Reddit and not used by anyone here.

Nobody here wanted to sign Darnold and trade JJM. What people were was thrilled with his play and speculated on what might happen if we went all the way. The situation would be unique.

JJM is too old and oft injured? Not sure where you’re pulling that from but no one here would want to trade him.

Getting worried about you man.

You would hope that the next time we are in the Red Zone or 3rd and 1 with the game on the line he tightens up those calls.

KOC main issue is he wants to design his pass offense to Medium to Deep passing......not every team will allow that. TE, running the ball, and short passing was available most of the game but he forced it as much as Sam did as QB.

It bugged me that Darnold had time on the pocket yet a lot of his completions were as David Levine said in the GDT…with a degree of difficulty for the receiver.

Where are the wide open guys and if they’re out there why isn’t Sam finding them?
