ORIGINAL: TJSweens If Royce goes on the IL, I assume Brooks Lee will make his debut. That's what I was thinking too. Unless Eduard Julien has found his stroke again.... Lee makes more sense though, he is raking at AAA and can play more positions on the field. Rocco does like flexibility in his guys. Julien experience versus Lee no experience...uugh I don't want to say which way I thinks Rocco will lean but Lee deserves the callup. Julien can play 2B or DH. That's about it. Lee can play pretty much anywhere in the infield. Rocco very much likes flexibility in his players with few exceptions. Also, Julien only bats LH, whereas Lee is a switch hitter... There's a good chance Rocco wouldn't take Julien over Lee. I think service time will have more sway in the that decision than Rocco's input anyway. If Julien comes up it's likely something to do with that had a big influence on their decision. I don't think service time will have any bearing on the decision. The Twins were looking at Lee as an early season call up, if not breaking camp with the team, before his back injury
