ORIGINAL: Pauldiercks1 Thoughts on Dillingham after summer league play? He seemed to improve as it went on that's very encouraging but as a non basketball mind, to me it seemed like there is a long way to go, and a lot he needs to change or improve upon. At his size I think his 3 point % will need to be pretty good to make the rest of his game effective? Curious what others thought I thought he far exceeded expectations as a passer/creator. He has a tremendous handle, but I had no idea that he has the vision, creativity and understanding in the passing game. He made a handful of passes that I'm not sure anyone on the Wolves roster can make and he seems very comfortable feeding the post and throwing lobs. His shot wasn't falling, but that's incredibly common for most rookies in Summer League. His offense mostly seemed rushed, but I chalk that up to him trying to get others involved and the fact that he was just 3 weeks away from the draft. Defensively he was not good. He's definitely small, but he didn't shy away from trying on defense. Its mostly just horrible technique. Most of his issues are coachable, and he's going to learn a lot from Conley about playing defense as a smaller guard. Appreciate your take, much respected.
