Let's hope Dan Campbell makes a couple boneheaded decisions next week. Which is not beyond the realm of possibilities.

I'd probably pick up Romo. I don't think Reichard is all the way back.

Followed the script of one of their classic galling big game losses - but they won?

I avoided this thread, on purpose.. thinking.. ok this is working well..
17 point lead, just the last part of the 4th quareterto go..

Then Flores puts on his girly pants and the Pukers reel of 15 straight unanswered points….

My blood pressure was off the scale after that 2 point play..

It all comes down to ford field..

Go niners!

He's on the Patriot's PS. We can put him on our 53.

Win or lose it is for all the marbles next week. Do you hope they have a physical game?

I only want to watch Vikings games with that level of production.

Does Gilmore cover anyone ever?

We won't be able to stop DET if he plays the whole game(needs a snap count). McGlothern can't be worse.

This team is dumb

Coach was dumb when leading.

Yeah. We were still going hurry up with 17 point lead. But, it was working. JJ ripped off a big one as I was complaining to the TV about snapping it with 20 seconds on play clock.

We were aggressive and that eventually won us the game because our defense went to hell.

Love is athletic with a big arm but he usually has wide open players to throw it too. If he has to make tight throws and anticipatory throws, he struggles.

Gilmore can't cover and he can't make tackles after allowing catches. I think the was GBs #6 WR that beat him for the last TD.

We lost to Detroit on a last second field goal earlier this year WITH Gilmore starting and playing most of the game.

I disagree that we wont be able to stop them.

Gilmore looks old and I don't see the Vikings bringing him back next year. But this defense as a whole adjusts for him. We held down one of the best big play offenses for 3 1/2 quarters yesterday. I think we can do the same against the Lions.

What is going to be this team's undoing is a combination of poor coverage late in games and an inability to bleed the clock late in games. Almost without fail, when we need a clock killing time out burning drive to ice the game, we go 3 and out. It happened once in this game, almost happened a second time, until Akers caught that last pass. Clock management has also been a nightmare. Letting all that time slip off the clock before halftime lining up for a play when you had two timeouts in your pocket? What the holy ****?

Seriously, That kind of shit cost us the first Lions game. THAT's where they need to improve the most right now.

After decades of disappointment. Decades of getting close and seeing the other shoe drop dramatically and painfully, I've grown exceptionally cynical. I am excited by our success, but still waiting for that other shoe to drop catastrophically, once again, dashing our hopes.

That being said, there is something different about this team. A positivity in the lockerroom. A "team" in every sense of the word. It feels different...but I still can't help but notice the flaws that may be fatal to a Superbowl run.

We all have Vikings football related ptsd and trauma responses.

Not as serious as true mental health issues but it would be foolish to think something we all care about so much hasn’t affected us with all the heartbreak and missed opportunities. 0/58 is hard to gloss over.

Until we do it some will never believe we can. This is everyone’s own personal thing but I think you’re missing something while waiting on that other shoe.

It seems petty but both Flores and KOC have late game management work to do....GB should have had 1 minute less and it wouldn't have required 2 first downs on our part at the end.
