Would’ve been smarter to kick it out of bounds if he didn’t have the leg to clear the end zone.

Looked like he hesitated (?) and the other returner was like let's go.

That was Price that told him to go.

And we may have just watched a 22 year old grow up before our eyes.

Definitely has a clutch gene about him. He played worse than Ponder early. I may have to blame it on KOC mostly though.

It takes a ton of character for a 22 year old in his first start to come roaring back from a pick 6 like that.

Double digit 4th quarter comeback in his first game.

JJ in the 4th.

6/8 passing.

Can we convince JJ all quarters are 4th quarters?

Maybe judging him through the first 3 quarters of his career was premature?

When you sit him the entire preseason you're saying he's ready. KOC should have definitely gave him way more live reps.

Winning regular season games way more important.

Wilson made a ton of plays at LB. There was pressure up the middle from Allen and Hargrove all game when rushing four. No need to blitz all game now. Price isn’t Sherels; way more juice.

So upgraded MLB backup, dynamic KR/PR, oline, interior Dline, and punishing RB. All paid dividends the second half.

You want Darnold back? Last quarter and finishing is what wins games.

Play that could have haunted us. A Jones caught a pass and didn’t stay in bounds.

One thing I have noticed flipping back and forth between the Twins and Vikes tonight is there is A LOT more action in a baseball game than there is in a football game. Probably something the NFL should look into. Many commercials, too much muckin' about. Baseball has made changes to speed things up. Football is slowing things down.

Did the Twins play tonight. Didn’t notice.

NFL is making big money right now. Baseball is way behind. Football didn't need to implement rule changes to speed up the game, baseball did. There is tons of action in a football game. Baseball is a lot of leisure time by comparison.

I think we have a keeper at QB. Seems to have the "it" factor. Great win!
