The Minnesota Timberwolves and Drew Timme have agreed to a deal, league sources told @hoopshype. Timme will compete for a spot in training camp. The former Gonzaga star has averaged 5.6 points and 2.7 rebounds in two NBA seasons with the Brooklyn Nets and Los Angeles Lakers.
That guy is a stud.
If you're into undersized bigs that can't shoot or defend, he's awesome.
I remember his Gonzaga days.
Too bad the Timberwolves don't play Boise State this year.
Not athletic enough....Kuminga would eat his lunch.
His ceiling is Garza because he is only 6'9".
Garza's is 6'11 and his claim to fame is that he can shoot.
Timme is both a poor 3 point shooter and a reluctant one.
He was a 25% shooter in 4 years of college (19/76).
He's shot 33% as a pro (20/60).
He's shot 24% in the GLeague (9/37).
He does seem to be improving as a FT shooter, so that's one positive sign.
