ORIGINAL: Todd M 100% it will Murray next week He wasn't that rattled. And even if he was it would be Wentz for sure. You don't go to your 3rd when your #2 just had a huge win. Use your head. OK, Wentz will start if Murray can't go. He was given a game ball. The Vikings won with him leading the offense. He beat out JJM for the 2nd string job. But let's not call his performance HUGE. He only threw about 16 times, for 133 yards, Addison and Jennings had no catches, He checked down too quickly at times. On the positive he did throw three TDs...and realizing the free play was a biggie for me. and the one to Hockenson was a dart. the third was a dump and JJ did the rest.... It was a good game in the end, but it left a lot to be desired. Who is calling his performance huge? Err, "HUGE"? Like I said a month ago, call him down from the buffet and he'll be ready to go before the injury timeout is over. And 'ready to go' is very relative. But considering he had next to no reps with the 1st team offense and was shitty out of the gate, he did ok. Very few backups get tossed into a game and produce 3 TDs, 0 picks. Did you not read Todd M's post which was quoted on mine before you posted? Todd M did. And Like I said, it was a good game. I just took exception to the "huge" part. I wouldn't get any aspirations of dominance by this team if Wentz is running the show long term. REally wouldn't get that way with either Murray or JJM either. I read it. He didn't call Wentz' performance huge. He said "You don't go to your 3rd when your #2 just had a huge win". And the post was pro-Murray. He can speak to it, but it looks like he is saying the order is Murray, Wentz, JJM. There are certainly no aspirations regarding Wentz.
