I think the Atlanta Falcons will make it to the NFC Championship, where they will lose, not because of bad play by Kirk, but because someone like Bijan will fumble near the end of the game.

I was going to predict a 13-4 regular season for Atlanta, but not after seeing their schedule. I am thinking 11-6, and they win 2 playoff games.

Kirk will win 2 playoff games, and then never win another playoff game for the rest of his career.

You're giving Kirk way too much credit.

If the games comes down to a drive late, as many a playoff game do. Kirk will either throw short of the sticks on 4th down, or not rush to the line and spike the ball to stop the clock or some other dipshittery and they will lose based on that alone.

Not like that has any historical proof about KFC, as opposed to his one and done career playoff record…

Soooo glad to be moving on….

So… glad..

Trek, I agree with your idea of likeliness, but I think like during the 2022 regular season, Kirk will play above his career play, and win a playoff game or 2, one last hurrah.

KOC brought out the best in Kirk in 2022, and Kirk was playing some of his best ball his last few appearances in 2023. I think Kirko chains has a little more confidence than he had 3 years ago.

But I agree that his flaws are likely to show up in a playoff game. But I think it will be more those flaws show up early in the game, 3 and outs and his team being behind in the 3rd quarter.

He gets his team almost back in the game in the 4th quarter, but his team comes up short, except I am thinking it will be someone else's fault, guessing a Bijan fumble does them in.

3) QB JJ McCarthy NE
4) WR Marvin Harrison Jr Arizona
5) OT Joe Alt SD

I will not dare because it's all guessing. But I will say this.

2 things

1. there is no way Daniels falls to 9.
2. there is no way Chicago gives up that pick for just 11 and the fourth rounder, especially to an in division rival.

I agree with you on 1. Daniels won't fall to 9. The QBs that may fall are Maye and McCarthy.
On 2 you can look at it both ways. Why would the Vikings give a division rival a free 4th round pick when the Bears can get the same player they would have taken at 9 at 11. The answer is we don't care if it helps them as long as it helps us. The trade is win/win. There should be no tax for trading within the division. However in this particularly ridiculous scenario, the Bears would care more about keeping Daniels away from us than getting a 4th round pick.

I agree. I think the idea of trading within your division is changing slowly. And that's makes good sense.
If both teams feel they are getting what they wanted and value out of the trade then do it. I'm not going to avoid trading with a division rival if I feel it's helping my team.

The Vikings are probably taking Daniels anyway, and this way the Bears get an extra pick.

I can't wait to see others predictions for the 1st 11 picks.

Do you have any 'ridiculous' scenario in your prediction?

Kwesi clearly feels that way too.

He's traded with both the Lions and Packers in the last two years IIRC

I'm not making predictions.

Except that Daniels is not falling to 9.

I don't watch college football very much. So I really don't know enough about any of the players out there. I only know what I read and most of that is in here, both posts (which I take largely with a grain of salt because of bias, personal feelings) and on links provided for stories, youtubes and scouting reports. What I've read about all the QBs has had Plusses and minuses.

I can only sit tight and wait for the action next Thursday night. Should be interesting.

I generally agree with that, but I also think a division rival would extract a pretty big premium if they're helping you get your potential QBotF.

Not if the division rival figures you're likely getting him anyway 2 picks later, and the division rival also figures you're getting an injury waiting to happen QB.

Moving back just 2 spots, from 9, I think Chicago would be happy to get a 4th rounder.

It would be a little different if it were from 3 to 5.

the Jets would take Odunze in a heartbeat in your scenario, marty

Today I think this is a potential playout:

1. Williams-Chicago
2. Daniels- Washington
3. Maye-Minnesota
4. MHJ-Arizona
5. Nabers-LAC
6. Odunze-NYG
7. Alt-Tenn
8. Turner-ATL
9. Verse-Chicago
10. Fuaga-Jets
11. JJMcC-NE

I think the Jets would prefer Bowers to Odunze. Odunze is supposed to be very good, but Bowers from everything I have seen is better.

why would they want Bowers when they have Conklin?!
lol
I think Odunze as a co-#1 WR is equally as useful to a great TE...I know Bowers is ranked very highly, though

plus everyone says Rodgers doesn't really know what to do with a TE anyway

Chris, if NE likes McCarthy, what you're saying could make A LOT sense in that they gamble he will be there by 11, and they also get pick #23 from Minnesota.

KGDABOM, I like your idea of Bowers to the Jets, that makes quite a bit of sense. I hope you don't mind, I might change my pick for the Jets to do that, just not sure yet. I would do it before the draft begins.

I have mixed feelings, but sorta wanna keep my original prediction, and roll with it.

I don't see any 'ridiculous' scenarios in your predictions Chris or KGDABOM, wouldn't it be cool if one of us got them all right ?

Anyone think Maye or Daniels could last until 8th or later ?

I like your trade scenario KGDABOM, I like it for the Vikings, not having to give up next year's 1st rounder. This is fun, I hope a few more people make predictions on the 1st 11, but if not, I am happy 3 of us did it.

There is so many ways a draft could end up going, it may be difficult for any of us to even get the 1st 6 picks right.

There is still time for others to join in, we're picking the 1st 11 picks of the draft, 1 point for the player, 1 point for the team, for a total of 22 points.
