ORIGINAL: Mr. Ed Dorsey to transfer “After discussion with Kevin and his family, we all feel that it is best for him to transfer and get closer to home,” Pitino said in a statement issued Monday by the school. “We wish Kevin nothing but the best moving forward, and will assist him in the process in any way that we can.” What a program. This has to fall on Pitino's shoulders....not much of a motivator or coach in my estimation....either that, or players don't listen to him, or don't believe in him! They have a better PG coming in than Dorsey...the other 2 in the scandal are better players. Dorsey would be transferring w/o the scandal tbh. I agree with what you're saying, but Dorsey was a top 100 recruit coming out of high school last year. However, I'm not too disappointed about him leaving. Hopefully he finds something that works out, but it didn't seem to be happening here. Mason, McBrayer, Gilbert, Fitzgerald, Murphy, Lynch, Coffey, and Hurt will get all the playing time next year with Konate/Diedou mixed in for height. Plus the possibility of Curry playing and Buggs staying....no PT for Dorsey.
