Pretty encouraging to win in the tourney with Mason only going 2-14.

And Springs gets hurt

And the bench offense is only McBrayer

Michigan State coach Tom Izzo yelled "We don’t flop, you know that," at official Bo Boroski when Matt McQuaid was leveled by Dupree McBrayer. "That," Boroski responded, "was a flop."

Pitino said he thinks Springs' injury could be a torn Achilles. "Not looking good." He said #Gophers should rally around him

Pitino says Coffey will play more at 2-guard & Hurt and Gilbert need to be ready to see more time at SF. McBrayer likely starts for Springs.

mason ices it with FTs.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Atta way to get rid of the skid vs Izzo

I didn't think it could happen. Glad to be proven wrong. 4 in double figures.

Bridges missed a lot of shots in the 2nd half.

Beat Michigan Please.

Michigan was playing Purdue so I'm guessing they were the #8 seed. They certainly won't be easy, but you can't ask for a better Matchup than that to get to the Big 10 finals.
Shame about Springs.

I think Springs has been injured the last 4-5 games....he hasn't been the same.

Mich couldn't miss in the 1st half

Hopefully we can turn things around and escape with a win.

Mich appears to have the refs in their back pocket

Walton jr from Mich has been playing out of his mind

Pitino only using 1 bench player has hurt us down the stretch.

Curry has subbed for Lynch but all other 4 starters have played the entire game and it shows.

Walton Jr with 29 pts 9a 5reb 2stls

Mason with a good game but he could not guard Walton Jr

We missed Springs but we simply did not move the ball well on offense nor did we even try to set screens to give Mcbreyer some open looks from downtown.

We looked like the more fatigued team even though Mich was in their 3rd game of the Tourn

I'm not expecting much in the NCAA tourney now. That Springs injury really hurts our rotation and allows no rest for some of our top players. The selection committee is supposed to take injuries into account for seeding, so maybe they drop us now?

There has to be a couple guys that can play on that bench.

Pitino needs to trust his bench.

Starting to look like Michigan will be big 10 champs. Up 8 with 10 minutes to go. Certainly not a lock but likely.
