LARGO, Maryland (AP) -- Three men were killed by a gunman after an argument broke out in a restaurant while the Super Bowl was being shown on television, police said.
No arrests had been made Monday.
The shooting happened Sunday night at the Uno Chicago Grill restaurant, part of a dining, shopping and entertainment complex near FedEx Field in the Largo area, Prince George's County police said.

Two of the men were shot in the restaurant's bar area and the third was shot outside in a parking lot.
Police said they believe all three men were killed by a single shooter.
Investigators were trying to determine what prompted the argument, which witnesses said occurred after one team scored during the Super Bowl, won by the New York Giants over the New England Patriots. E-mail to a friend

That article is funny as hell. And yes, Tom Brady is a lucky, lucky guy.

The '72 Dolphins are just sad. Get a life already!

I lost all kinds of respect for the 72 Dolphins....Shula and Morris specifically. If anything, their actions through all of this has tarnished the reputation of that team more than anything. They are nothing but jealous, egotistical has beens holding onto the one thing that obviously keeps their defibrulator relevant. They show a complete lack of class and IMO couldn't hold a candle to any team playing in this era!!

I bet there are a few top 25 college teams today that could beat the '72 Dolphins. Just a completely different era. For them to press on as they do is truly sad.

I agree. They've become completely obnoxious the past couple of years and have lost any level of respect I ever had for them - - - if I ever had any. It must be tough to see your relevance disappear every single year. They're working WAY too hard to get back in the public eye.

If anything those guys should be (at least publicly) talking up teams making a run at them....not professing about popping open the bubbly because their record is still in tact. Talk about insecurity about being forgotten!

Anyone else extremely annoyed with the Leinart/Quinn commercials that seem to be coming out in force of late?

Neither of these guys has done ANYTHING in the NFL yet.

Sorry, I just have a real problem with that.

Sorry, I just have a real problem with that.

Though I don't think they are worth it...there are some ad execs that think they are...you know, professional athlete, presumably good looking (I don't look at men that way).

Simply put, they have good agents.

Yeah that

Brady singlehandly lost the Super Bowl???? must have been all those turnovers.

Yeah the Oline had little impact on the outcome or the defense wearing down in the fourth.

Coaching decisions had no effect.

A great effort by the Giants with some luck thrown in, nope.

It was all Tom Brady, who looked real human when his OLINE had a bad game.

I just dont get this hanging a loss on a individual.

If that was any other QB missing Moss wide open like that people would be all over him. But because Mr. Have a Child Out of Wedlock does it then it is ok. Brady was exposed and the hero worshippers can't get over it. Wake up people - many QBs would have thrown for 50 TDs with that lineup and with a coach who runs up the score. When the heat was on he wilted like a pansy.

Any true pocket passer would have struggled against the Giants with that pass rush.

Also, don't discount Brady's knocking up TWO super models almost simultaneously.

I guess it goes with the territory, but what does having a child out of wedlock have to do with losing the Super Bowl?

The Pats have won three Super Bowls with Brady as their QB, all tight games in which he performed under pressure.

Brady lacks mobility as does Manning, if the blocking breaks down they are considerably less effective, when it doesnt they are both deadly. Without protection any QB will struggle.

I dont like the Pats either but I do respect what they have done in football.

You heard the early rumors but apparently never heard the correction later. Giselle Bundchen is NOT pregnant. The trashy tabloids seemed to have made that up. The apologetic correction didn't make the same size headlines as the original false story did.

How did he not own up to it? I remember reading that he was there for the birth, the baby carries his first name (and her last name), and he has said that he'll take responsibility for it. Did you read somewhere that he has denied that he is the father?

I think you might be confusing that story with Matt Leinart's out-of-wedlock child.

In the sense that you can't "prove" a negative, I suppose you are technically correct.

That said, the Patriots could not run the ball, and consequently had a ton of 3 and outs. That was a huge factor in their loss, plain and simple.

Which goes to bolster my point. They were able to run the ball in the AFCCG, and won. In the Super Bowl, the couldn't, and lost.

This is one of the most ludricous things I have read on this board. No quarterback is going to play well when he's on his ass for half of his dropbacks. It's not Brady's fault his line couldn't block. He was sacked 5 times! I will admit that it was not a good game from Brady, but to say that the loss is on him is silly when clearly his supporting cast stunk, and their D couldn't come up with a stop when they needed it most.

The Boston Globe reports Patriots WR Randy Moss spoke after the Super Bowl and commented on why the Giants won. "I think their intensity, from the beginning snap to the end of the game, was really higher than ours. We just couldn't meet that intensity. It kind of surprised me, just in the fact that all of the work we put in for the last two weeks, our game preparation. They had the better team today. When things like that happen, the only thing you can do is lick your wounds and try to come back at it next year." Will he be back next year with the Patriots? "It just makes me hungry to play football. If I am in a New England Patriot uniform next year, I would love to be in one. If I am not, you know, the show must go on."
