ORIGINAL: Matt Lang I'm thinking Barnes might not be a super-star talent though. He'll be a really good starter, and probably an all-star a few times, but not one of the top elite guys in the league. Kind of more like Ray Allen (talent level, not game style) than Kevin Durant. Your thoughts? I'm sure you've seen him play more than I have - There was a very interesting dialog over on Canis a few days ago, which essentially asked the question: assuming both players were available, why would you select Harrison Barnes with a top lottery pick, when you could select Jordan Hamilton with a mid-first rounder? I'd take Burks. I think Barnes will have a nice, productive career, but I don't see him as a star. Maybe he ends up a poor man's Paul Pierce. I don't disagree. But Burks seems to be moving up the boards a bit, while Hamilton is hovering in the mid-late teens.
